These are just sabre rattles - although the real threat is NK artillery with I believe verified capability to rain 10000 shells on Seoul during the opening hours of the conflict.
Once the ROK military gets going though the NK military will fall in 48 hours or less.

Its that initial loss of civilian life that has Seoul trying to keep the peace

The South Koreans have a big disadvantage by having the capital so close to the borders. They could have relocated it after the war.

That's the reason why SK would consider NK crossing the red line if NK position that much concentration of Artillery piece in the border. It wouldn't get to that point because any movement of Artillery and Supply would have been noted by the South Korean Intelligence and they would most likely either putting up CAP or evacuate the capital if NK really do stack up their artillery like that.

I mean, look at it this way, a Standard Artillery Regiment have 12 to 15 guns. assigned to 3 Firebases. You will need thousand if not tens of thousands of guns to rain tens of thousands of shells in Seoul, and you can't fire your gun undercover, that mass of force would have been sticking up like a sore thumb in any Intelligence Apparatus.

There's not much of a surprise when J-7 and MI-21 form the backbone of your air force against more modern F-15, F-16, and F-35s.

While you post articles of F-35 crashing, it makes no difference, considering SK has 220+ top-line F-15s and F-16s to 40 F-35s.

What is there to study? Aviation history is full of battles in which next generation fighters absolutely destroying older generation aircraft, and western aircraft absolutely destroying Soviet aircraft, so imagine what happens when a next generation western aircraft meets with an old Soviet aircraft?
