Can we use it on the border?
Why not......an illustration...Ramgarh (an indian military base and staging area), which was one of our objective in 1971, is just 46 kms from our border.....SH-15 can fire in excess of 50 kms.....so....

They always do. Indians still believe that China stole their UNSC permanent seat. They forget that in 1945 India was a colony of the British Empire. India is not even qualified to enter UN. :meeting:

They also think India is an ancient country, in actuality, it is a British creation established in 1947. Unlike China, it has never existed in history.

They also think they invented flight thousands of years ago, and computer science. Fantasies never end.

Bhai sabeb.
Just to give you a hint, the aromatic spices in Arabic are called Bharat. Look up tests from 7-800 AD and you will find references. Now you wonder why it was called Bharat( because of course Bharat did not exist). Similarly the Arabs call Orange "Burtaghal" as it came from Portugal. So there is evidence that things were named after their origins. Bharat might not have had the same connotations but it did exist. So please dont deny history. Credit is given where it is due. The term zero is an Indian origin terminology as connotations were not understood previously. So there are roots of Maths and possibly of Chess in India.

The most important thing about SH 15 Howitzer is its ability to fire nuclear rounds.
Obviously,PA is not going to fire them too early in war,but its threat will certainly help to keep Indian planners confused and hesitant to full scale war.

We already have this capability with M-110 SP Howitzers with close to 40 of these in service across two heavy SP regiments. They can fire nuclear artillery however I do. not think Pakistan will either use the M-110s or the SH-15s in this role.

The primary benefit is lowering dependency on the American origin 155mm field and SP howitzers and being able to employ precision fire support at extended ranges i.e. north of 50km.

Hopefully members remember the contract with Messrs Poongsan of South Korea which allowed Pakistan to manufacture DPICM K-310 rounds locally which allows our 155mm systems to hit targets out to 36Km in anti armor and other roles. Hopefully SH-15 guns can be exploited to use DPICM munitions at ER which will be a very good deterrence capability against adversary's armor, formations on the move etc. The SH-15s by themselves will also bridge the gap between Pakistani artillery's current reach with 155mm artillery (out to 40km) and the high end of the reach with A-100 MLRS exceeding 100kms. Given A-100's cost-prohibitive rockets, SH-15 is a very good platform with intermediate reach.

As per the KITAP, they are always in delusion as the mental blocks and barriers are created all around their minds so that they can't fathom the clear truth! And, it's the ultimate predicament.....

And, please couple it with Bayrakrar TB2 type drones within a dense EW environment generated by ASELSAN KORAL type platforms within 200km off the border! They can detect the AD, armored, artillery and infantry locations to direct the SPGs for a pin point bombardment....

Bhai sahib you are doing a great disservice to history, an honest interpretation is important. Taking few irrelevant examples to conjure a non existent reality does not make it true. Any factual history has to be based on ground realities, on a set of parameters for it to exist and be recognised. That is not the case regarding this topic, a historical Indian nation, it cannot be based on the naming of spices.

Your argument is extremely weak, allow me to highlight why. Indian fantasies are one thing, but what's worrying is that Pakistanis lot fail to assess history with due merit, that's sad, and without realising they hurt themselves.

You cannot base a historical nationhood, based of few odd facts, the Muslims were known as Saracens to the European Christians, are we Saracens or Muslim?, the Christians of Europe were known as Franks, Are they Franks or do they have their own identity? Terms used by others do not not mean anything because you refer to a grouping according to your own understanding at the time. First and foremost, Identity is self created, not created by others, that's an essential element.

To claim a historical nationhood there had to be home grown "NATION" covering the claimed territory, that has never happen in 5000 years of Indian/South Asian history, baring few decades. By taking the name "India", history has been muddled, the difference between a regional historical has been confused with a history of a nation.

The Europeans have a 1000 years of Roman rule, under which they had a unified government and administrative structures, unified currency and a unified language, that language still influences modern day European languages, but the Europeans are not silly enough to claim a historical nationhood.

The Arab world actually had everything that makes a nation, unified religion, language that survives to this day, culture, unified rule and so on. They followed the process of evolution where the Berbers identity became secondary to Arabic identity, but they do not cry about a lost and a fantasy filled imagined Arab Mata, because they don't behave like children and accept modern realities.

In India even without a historical basis, they still constantly cry about an imagined bharat mata that never was, and people like you seem to accept this blind fantasy, that's truly sad.

Identity is not a pre-formed package, it is formed over time with set of shared values, of which language is paramount, amount other factors. A Bengali or a Punjabi or Tamil or Marathi did not wake up one day and decide we are going to be Bengali or Tamil, they have shared set of experiences that gave them their singularly different food, culture, festivals, and language, an distinct identity, that happened because each of those are nations, and the neighbouring people followed their own path and created their own identity, that is what makes people different, distinct nations.

In China you actually have a history of Sinicisation, where over millennia, they made tremendous effort to create a Chinese identity and today more then 90% of Chinese identity as Han Chinese. That process never happened in South Asian/India, which was always a region, never a country. There was never a demand for s singular national identity because it did not exist in the minds of the people. The Hindu identity is a modern reality, historycally people followed a Santana dharma, following different gods in different area, the formulation of that identity as Hindus is very much a modern concept.

There a historically region of India, please do not confuse that with nationhood, there is a vast difference. You do yourself injustice by blindly accepting loose facts to create a vast reality of nationhood that never existed, that is historically incorrect , and intellectually unfair.

As per the KITAP, they are always in delusion as the mental blocks and barriers are created all around their minds so that they can't fathom the clear truth! And, it's the ultimate predicament.....

The sad thing is that many unaware among Pakistanis have accept these fantasies without fair judgement.

There seems to be a concurrent Ammo TOT deal incl CBU shells, alongside the SH-15 sale.

It is very strange. Some military fans seem found a problem in China. The howitzer SH-15(PCL-181) are shipped to Pakistan looks on active service.
Only in 1965/Sep. , the situation is very urgent because of Ind-Pak war and Type 59 tanks were on active service were shippes to Pakistan from China.

This is not a problem but something that has been happening for at least 2 straight years now, for a multitude of systems mostly since after Balakot and then Galwan. I have said this elsewhere, but these two incidents have changed the Chinese strategic calculus for the region (India pretty much did a self-goal on this).

@Bilal Khan (Quwa) We were right on this call too. =P

Pakistan should make chemical weapons as well. In total war no one cares about what the world thinks the only thing that matters is if we survive. Chemical artillery shells would devastate Indian trenches and would make it easier for us.
