That was not a war. That was a hijacking. It happened 35 years ago and was one of the most complex hijackings EVER. On holy land where bloodsheed is not allowed unless in the most severe cases. 500 highly armed and determined cult militants hijacking thousands of people. Not easy to deal with.

It's like comparing the army of the US in 1900 with that of today.

Al-Saud or not Makkah and Madinah is Makkah and Madinah and will remain so. No matter who rules it.

Quit trolling and leave this thread if you have only trolling to offer. Nobody cares about that on this section.

it has nothing to do with saudi family it has to everything to do with the fact that we are muslims and Kabbah situated in makkah is the house of allah and the fact that if someone even thinks about attacking it or gets ready will be intercepted and killed on sight
you might remember when pakistan was supporting russia alone with turkey and a bunch of countries the momment it said it was gonna destroy saudi arab everyone turned against them

Then what's the point of your post? Al-Saud never claimed any Caliphate. They rule KSA. That's it.

Anyway @Aeronaut your thoughts about cooperation are a good idea but since nobody trusts each other in the ME (aside from allies) then this will not happen. Hence why nobody has acted in Syria or Iraq directly on the ground.

This benefits groups like ISIS. Had this been the EU joint action would have taken place already by now.

    Kurdish troll allert.

They destroyed several old mosques in Mosul. Statues of ancient Arab poets, scientists etc. Some of those mosques were founded by descandents of the Rashidun Caliphs and those of Prophet Muhammad (saws).

Nothing is surprising with that group.

Pakis? Not really. If you mean doing drills together occasionally and once some military advicers (normal as allies) then yes. Pakistan is a main military power whether one likes it or not. Despite their many problems and poor economy. I don't think that I will insult anyone by saying that.:)

Pakis is a racist slur against Pakistanis - Please don't use that !

And yes we've helped train Saudis & our other Arab allies but helping them train is a whole lot different than 'KSA's security apparatus & military being made up of Pakistanis' !

Thats like saying because we've trained with the Americans, the Chinese & the British amongst others & so the Pakistani Security Apparatus is made up of Americans, the Brits & the Chinese ?
