Truth be told we've seen plenty of male chauvinism from girls of both sides since this incident started.
Lessons learned from this thread:
Both Pakistanis and Indians are equally chavinist. In this case, Indians are "losing" a girl to Pakistan.
If tables were turned, I am sure I will see Indians cheering and Pakistanis grumbling.
Who are these folks? No big hype when Noor Married Vikram a coupla years back.
Are you in India, Isn't it kinda late there?
*cough* *cough*I am sure that this thread will "create" a lot of "elite" members =D
I completely agree with Hina jee...................... Bring Ayesha in Pakistan along with Sania jee and let her fight her case in Pakistan.India cant act against Shoaib
A leading women's rights activist in Pakistan jumped to Shoaib's defence on the matter of his marrying Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza.
"First of all I don't understand how can the Indian police process a case against him in India under Indian laws when the bane of contention between him and Ayesha is the Nikah which is registered in Pakistan," a noted women's right lawyer Hina Rabbani said.
She pointed out that since the Nikahnama produced by Ayesha was registered in Sialkot, the case could only be processed in Pakistan under Pakistani laws.
"Ayesha has no doubt weakened her case by not appearing in person to tell her side of the story," Rabbani pointed out.
