3- Russia will escalate if it believes it's losing the war by using tactical nukes. But is afraid of losing Chinese support

I have seen multiple Western analyst saying if Russia goes down then China knows that 'China is next'.
So far the Chinese have been very very carefully supporting Russia by keeping the trade going and maybe export some weapons/ammos; the Chinese fear enhanced Western sanctions which would really hurt China (and the West).

Don't know about 6-8 weeks but two observerations

1- Russia didn't use liberal air power may be they are afraid of Ukraine defense systems or their aircrafts are just bad

2- Russia can't achieve dniper river goal.

3- Russia will escalate if it believes it's losing the war by using tactical nukes. But is afraid of losing Chinese support

4- Russia goal is to defeat ukriane in conventional war by taking all areas it's claim and then demanding on negotiation table the areas it's annexed plus no NATO Membership.

It will keep fighting untill these two objectives were acheived

There’s a simple reason Russian air force is impotent. Ukraine has a large stock of Soviet Cold War era anti-air systems. Basically the same generation as Russian air force. Since Ukrainian’s SAMs Force Russian planes to fly low, they become vulnerable to shorter range systems and even MANIPADS. With no air defence suppression doctrine, there’s very little Russia can do at this point;; ( on Nukes) He won’t use any , no matter what kind. Because he knows exactly that the answer of nato would be catastrophic for all. Besides could they be so stupid as to use nukes . Something that would just blow radiation their way! What he could use if he get desperate enough Russians might use chemical or biological weapons , and ones with with a low persistency for purposes of plausible deniability. ( Russian winning) As long as the western Alliance keep supplying the Ukrainian Army with tanks, planes, artillery pieces, etc etc the Russian invasion will eventually break and retreat back to their Russia.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Ukraine has begun using the Grim-2 operational and tactical missile complex.

On March 29 2023, the Ukrainian army attempted to strike a base of the Russian Military Aerospace Forces, located near the village of Gvardeyskoye in the central part of Crimea.

Analysts indicated that the Ukrainian armed forces fired a ballistic missile. It happened around 18:00 on Wednesday, March 29th. The target was the Russian Air Force airfield north of Simferopol.
