Yes, but don't you guys have localities that are dominated by people from different parts of the country? It is quite common for cities to have neighborhoods that way.
Not in Islamabad. Even in Lahore, where I live doesn't have ethnicity based neighborhoods. Old Lahore culture only exists within the tiny walled city.

Nope, don't have that sort of divide here in Pakistan especially in federal capital
I've read on this forum that Karachi has some neighborhoods like that. This led me to assume that other cities may not be any different

Okay, that is what I was looking to understand. Then the actions of this mosque community are not easily explainable
That particular masque has history of being terror sympathizer, last time when govt took actions against them it triggered a chain reaction which devoured 70k Pakistani lives.

I don't know about Karachi but here in twin cities it's not like that.

Karachi and Islamabad are radically different, so much so that they don't even seem like cities from the same country.

Yes, I remember the incident from news. But I'm not very familiar with the circumstances behind it. It was tough times for Musharraf back then, as I recall.

What does it take to hire a sniper and take him out once and fall all and close this chapter. Spineless rulers of Pakistan, if you create a monster should have enough brains to takem out.

Then you want a new wave of suicide attacks in Pakistan, That clerk have thousands of blind followers.

We should have dispatched him long ago but Gen Musharraf made this mistake by not killing him.
InshaAllah khaane mey zehr milado.

Why are you blaming the snake, why not blame the keeper cos he/she wears the trousers?
Because I know the snake well, I was present for Lal Mosque siege, i lifted the bodies of casualties from the scene with my own hands. You cannot quantify or understand my hatred and anger for this man and his ilk. As for handlers, what insight can you offer? I would be willing to listen to any insight you have to offer.

Videos from the site, taken from maybe prior to the take down of flags. Armed militant was seen pacing.

These were not armed militants but personal guards and probably on paid salaries. You are exaggerating my mann
A million lanats are not enough for this snake.
Why the overreaction? They are part of the society these people and should be treated with great respect. The admin did handle this quit well instead of making unnecessary scene out of this they talked him out of it. Sometimes unnecessary overreaction can lead one down a worse unpredictable path like last time it could become like opening pandora box which is unnecessary.

The gov't did handle this quit wisely tho so kudos to them

Sorry for your bad experience but what are you expecting from an animal especially a snake. Snake only knows how to survive and bite so miraculously snake can't be transformed into a puppy dog which is totally a different species.
So lets be realistic we have got ample opportunities to put down or muzzle them but we lack the will or someone at the background is feeding them. So i don't blame him at all only the law enforcers and law makers i.e. the government. Why people like him are allowed to damage the country and then die of natural causes and some one will build a tomb for him and he will be hero for some. Why people like him in other countries are put behind the bars and thrown away the key and never to be seen again but in our country one fitna to the other like PTM exists and we let them to fester.

When Musharraf launched an action against the thugs of the Lal Masjid in 2007, he was overnight made a big villain by the the stupid media and opportunistic politicians. Only people like Benazir Bhutto (and perhaps MQM/ANP parties) supported Musharraf action. When Musharraf removed the corrupt and destructive judge Iftikhar Chaudhry in 2007 the stupid media and opportunistic politicians (including our dear Imran Khan) made Musharraf a villain.
This Haramkhor Mullah is surviving because of the opportunism and myopia of the Pakistani media and political class! Haramkhor TLP goons are surviving because of the weakness of the Pakistani state.

India could never do and never be able to do the damage to Pakistan like the fanatics-for-hire in Pakistan have been able to do! There is a reason India was so successful for the last 2 decades in ruining Pakistan's economy and killing 70,000+ Pakistanis: Because Pakistan has too many fanatics-for-hire! And yet people here have the guts to call a tiny fringe of Pakistani 'liberals' as equally destructive to Pakistan!!!
