GILGIT: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has acquired the required number to form government in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) after four independent candidates, who were declared winners have joined the party.

According to details, Wazir Muhammad Saleem was declared winner from GBLA-9 Skardu-3 as an independent candidate. He announced to join PTI after meeting with the Chief Organiser Saifullah Khan, in which, Federal Minister For Northern Areas and Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur, Governor GB, and other senior PTI leaders were also present.

Earlier, Nasir Ali Khan, a victorious independent candidate from GBLA-10 also joined PTI, whereas the other two independent candidates, Mushtaque Hussain and Haji Abdul Hameed have also announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Welcoming the joining of independent candidates, Saifullah Khan Niazi said that the people of GB buried the anti-state narrative of the opposition parties in the general elections held on November 15.

He said that PTI is heading to form a strong government in the area. The PTI stalwart also vowed to address issues being faced by the people of GB.

Unofficial results showed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) took lead in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) election 2020 by grabbing victory in 10 constituencies followed by seven seats won by independent candidates out of 23 seats of the region’s Legislative Assembly.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had also expressed happiness over the victory of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in GB polls and said that voters have rejected Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)’s narrative.

Nice, clean selection as usual.
Actually, both the PPP & PMLN won 20+ seats in the previous 2 GB elections (GB tends to vote for the party in power in the Center). FAFEN has ruled the elections largely free and fair.

The results are inline with public polling done prior to the elections, as was the case with the 2018 elections that brought the PTI to power.

And most of the independents who won were PTI members who were denied PTI tickets to run in the elections in favor of some 'lotas' (something PTI supporters have asked IK to address since the same thing occurred in the 2018 national elections).

The independents joining PTI are basically re-joining the PTI after proving how the GB leadership made piss-poor decisions in allocating tickets.

Now that the traitors like Abdullah, Mujib, NS, AZ etc. are gone one good thing after another is happening for Pak...

Remember, the Indians' strength vis-à-vis Pak lies in the strength of the traitor maggots they raise to kill Pak from inside!!! They have no direct physical strength to undermine Pak on a one-to-one battle!!! Even when Pak had only 40K battle ready troops beleaguered 1200 miles away, without any air/armored/artillery/naval/intelligence/logistics etc. supports whatsoever, even the entire might of the USSR behind her wasn't enough!!! Their mainstay was the Mukti Bahini traitors and their base, which had weakened the Pak forces for 9 months with relentless insurgency and terrorism, before they launched their final ops....

It's the continuation of the never ending war b/w Iman and Kufr, where the Ga'libiyet and Ma'lubiyet of one over the other occur in cycles. It appears the Ga'libiyet of Iman over Kufr is nearby. Of course Allah-u Azimushshan Knows and Plans the Best...

In all other countries have preliminary elections to see who win the ticket

In pakistan its upto the party and "haqiqi workers" say its their right even if they arent popular

It doesnt work like this in politics
PTI needs to give tickets based upon popularity NOT seniority

Is this so difficult ???

Hold preliminary elections when in doubt..

Its not that difficult
