Whatever the decision the matter shall be taken to supreme court by some one.

One thing is for sure PTI has accepted that it received illegal foreign funding. Now it is up to EC how they interpret the same.

Bro you are absolutely wrong. The supreme court sent the case to ECP not the other way around. No one followed it that's why. Cases on plmn and PPP are also going on since ages. Their hearing is on 18th. They have not submitted their reply yet.

You know whats funny is that they never ever tell you how much money have been funded by India, US and Israel to PTI, and the reason is that the amount is so miniscule that if they do mention it, then people will ignore this whole foreign funding issue.

Now that doesn't mean that this issue of foreign funding is legitimate. I did a detail post of this a few years ago but from what i remember was that they had picked 32 names from the list of donators, one had a Hindu name another had a Sikh name and the final was a Jew law firm.

The Hindu guy was later found to actually be a Pakistani Hindu. The Sikh was an Indian, however his wife was a Pakistani who made him contribute to the PTI fund. Finally the Jew Law firm franchisee is a Pakistani who used his company cheque to fund. From memory the amount didn't exceed $5000, which is even less than what i have contributed over the years to the PTI fund.

I will make it short, from what I remember from last time.

In USA if you want to collect donations on their soil, by law you can not do it on your own instead you have to collaborate with an existing firm/entity (this is what the agent term is referring to). America is not a banana republic they have strict monetary laws specially after 9/11.

All the money has been accounted for, just a couple of thousand dollars (correct me if I am wrong a few hundred maybe) are left.

I remember it from last time the case was picked up. Now if you listen to court proceeding lawyers it is pti who is pushing for early resolution of case and the complainant is asking for prolonging the case to gain most out of it on media.

The real fun will begin when plmn and ppp will appear on 18th. So far they have given not a single detail in ECP.

CHAPTER-III

DISSOLUTION OF POLITICAL PARTIES

15. Dissolution of a political party:

(1) Where the Federal Govern- ment is satisfied that a political party is a foreign-aided party or has been formed or is operating in a manner prejudicial to the sovereignty or integrity of Pakistan or is indulging in terrorism, it shall make such declaration by a notification in the official Gazette.
(2) Within fifteen days of making a declaration under clause (1), the Federal Government shall refer the matter to the Supreme Court whose decision on such reference shall be final.
(3) Where the Supreme Court upholds the declaration made against a political party under clause (1), such party shall stand dissolved forthwith.

16. Effects of Dissolution of political party:

(1) Where a political party is dissolved under Article 15, any member of such political party, if he is a member of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) or a Provincial Assembly, shall be disqualified for the remaining term to be a member of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) or as the case may be, the Provincial Assembly, unless before the final decision of the Supreme Court, he resigns from the membership of the party and publicly announces his disassociation with such political party.
(2) A person becoming disqualified from being a member of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) of Provincial Assembly under clause (1) shall not participate in election for any elective office or any legislative body till the expiry of four years from the date of his disqualification from being a member of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) or, as the case may be, the Provincial Assembly.
(3) The order of members of a political party becoming disqualified from being members of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) of the Provincial Assembly on its dissolution shall be notified in the official Gazette.

Foreign Funding Case: Election Commission Issues Notice To PML-N & PPP

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned on January 18 to expedite the investigation into foreign funding against PML-N and PPP.

According to the report of a private news agency, after the announcement of protest by Pakistan Democrats in front of the Election Commission on January 19, the Election Commission has summoned the PPP and PML-N on January 18 regarding the foreign funding case.

According to the report, the Election Commission has expedited the process of action against both the parties at the request of PTI leader Farrukh Habib.
PTI leader and National Assembly member Farrukh Habib shared a copy of the ECP's summons to both the parties on the social networking site Twitter in this regard and said that lying has become a habit of Maryam Nawaz. Is.
