I am certainly not a PDM supporter - but what the hell are Courts doing getting themselves involved in Executive constitutional roles.
Court has no standing to pass such judgements. Our entire system is so messed up and mediocre that each constitutional org has no sense of their role and balance. These overreaches are nuts, and you see them everywhere in all branches of government.

The government should simply say this is not a constitutional order and executive privilege does not allow them to give courts any jurisdiction over matters such as these. They should file an appeal not on the merits of this order, but the constitutionality of this order.
The PDM is dragging its feet accepting IMF demands by getting their lackeys in the judiciary involved. Don’t read it as separate. It’s like a giant mafia.

PMLN PDM meet IMF demands and Lahore courts stuck down the implementation of demands. For example, today energy surcharges per IMF demand were stuck down by the Lahore court in the public interest. Lahore court advised the govt to utilize solar energy and ordered Govt to give subsidiaries for up to 500 units. First, it is strange why the Lahore court advises using Solar energy. And now our courts give economic policy. PMLN is playing a dirty game with IMF behind the scene. Same situation in the Sindh court. IMF also raised questions about FIA and NAB role in curtailing corruption.

Watch from the 11th minute. An important detail about IMF demands.

The courts didn't strike anything down, PDM did. They're doing everything through their puppets and using the rulings as an excuse to do whatever they want. They can now go to the IMF and say that they legally cannot implement the demands and readjust the list of demands to be more favorable towards PDM.

Seems to be a clear case of judicial overreach. The imported govt should ignore it an go ahead with the tariff hikes.

How the heck can court pass executive orders or block them?

Baki har kaam karain gay except actually providing justice.
Actually courts certainly can in cases like this. First seems like there is already precedent to follow. And courts often delay any government plans if there is sufficient cause for harm to citizens, esp when there has been no legislation that has been passed in this regard.
