Already read and already noticed the highlight.... rest is usual MoU and diplomatic bla bla...

Irrespective of all the fraternal and historical relations references, Imran Khan and mafia would not waste any opportunity to back stab Saudi /GCC in any moment of advantage. Which is now a stark realization among Saudi leadership as well, hence the formation of Supreme Coordination Council, idea is to make it difficult for IK and SMQ types to baselessly malign Saudi Arabia and accuse them of pressurizing in private, as they did in past !

As we witnessed, before travel Imran Khan and team tried to play their cards to pressurize Saudis by announcing opening of two more crossings with Iran, but as expected it had no influence on what was already decided and once again, that's Supreme Coordination Council.

I dont agree with your analysis. You are clearly biased against IK and PTI. You keep calling them mafias. I dont know what you mean they ll "back stab" saudi/GCC, they ll definitely change policy or posture depending upon the national interest of Pakistan. You can call it backstabbing/Uturn or whatever you want. Did Saudi Arabia not back stabbed Pakistan when India changed status of Jammu and Kashmir?? Did UAE back stabbed Pakistan when they allowed Israel to open embassy in UAE? So every country looks after their interest.

Also for your information formation of supreme co ordination council was agreed back in 2019. Also SMQ and IK targeted Saudi leadership for its complicity on Kashmir issue, not for personal benefits.

I understand your frustration with PTI but you are becoming extremely biased and closed minded in your analysis.

Frankly MBS needs a kick in his teeth. When he was being touted by Trump and behind the scenes meeting his mate the Israeli PM Netanyu he was flying high with his head in the clouds. We all saw how he treated Pakistan. However things changed abruptly. After that Kashoggi affair and Trump losing MBS suddenly came crashing down. And then when on the ground he sobered up. Changed tack on Pakistan. PMIK should by any measure kick his teeth out. But.

But the problem is MBS has something PMIK is in desperate need of. Petrodollars. At this point the chances of the looming elections being won by PTI are slim. It is possible we could have Sharifs or even grinning Zardari in 2023.

The problem is with the massive debt. The decades dug in mafias who consolidated under years of PML-N rule are making it impossible for PMIK to deliver. Most voting public have very short thinking spans but the Pakistan voters don't even think beyond the 'today'.

So the only way now is throw money at the public, particularly in those districts which are marginal where PTI could win with a small swing. The recent housing scheme is designed to do that. PMIK has been very busy of late throwing about projects. Tarin has been brought in to make this spending spree possible. He will try to buy space and time with IMF. That should free some money to throw at the public.

Now we go back to petrodollar MBS. He has loads of money. Thus PMIK has humbled himself and gone over. I suspect he will come back with some package of decent size which then will be used to sweeten the public for 2023.

Failing that say hello the one of the combo - Sharif/Zardari. This is my opinion anyway.

Ps. This package could be loan/grant or oil subsidy.
Putting aside for one minute the pain of seeing Pakistan failing to progress, if the Pakistani electorate vote in either of the thieves at the next, or any other elections, they deserve everything they get.
