    Prime Minister for withdrawal of motions against PTI
    Nawaz Sharif appeals JUI(F), MQM to review their decisions regarding de-seating of PTI members.

    Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has once again appealed to the JUI-F and MQM to review their withdraw their motions regarding deseating of 28 PTI members.

    Speaking in the National Assembly today, he said he had appealed to JUI-F and MQM members in the parliamentary leaders meeting to withdraw their motions.

    He said the appeal is aimed at strengthening of democracy. He said MQM and JUI-F should demonstrate open heartedness to end the uncertainty.

    He regretted the remarks of PTI Chairman Imran Khan about Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

    Referring to Supreme Court's verdict on 18th and 21st Constitutional Amendments.

    The Prime Minister said the apex court has declared validated these constitutional amendments. He said the historic verdict of the Supreme Court will have positive impact on the country's future.

    He said the verdict established supremacy of the Parliament.

    Nawaz Sharif said all the parliamentary parties had reservations about military courts but the step was imperative to purge the country of terrorists.

    The Prime Minister said verdict will give new impetus to war against terrorism.

    He said the government has taken decisions on important national issues including operation Zarb-e-Azb, National Action Plan, Constitutional Amendments and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and matters relating to foreign affairs.

    Referring to the plight of flood affectees, the Prime Minister said the federal and provincial governments and other institutions are carrying out relief operation in effective manner.

    He said military in cooperation with other agencies is working hard to provide relief to the flood affectees.

    He assured that government will leave no stone unturned to rehabilitate the flood affected people and to compensate the losses of floods. He urged the people to cooperate actively in this noble cause.
