Pakistani Video Gamer Beats World Champion Of The Game Tekken 7 in Dubai And The World Is Shocked
Proud Moment for Pakistan in the field of E Gaming as this Pakistani Young Lad Arslan Ashbeats the Globally Hailed Korean World Champion of the game Tekken 7 #Knee, in a tournament held at Dubai. Global observers of the game and the tournament were left in awe and shock that how come a Pakistani Young lad beat a globally acclaimed world champion that too in a straight 6-0 flawless victory. And mind you that is just some raw talent in the corner of a Lahore's gaming center Maniax Gaming Hub. Imagine what Pakistan might do to the world if such talent is provided with proper resource and support. The amount of talent in our country is too Damn High. Hats of to this guy and I wish to see him play the #Evo World Championship of the game #TEKKEN with all the other global heavyweights. Way to go man.

Watch the Match here all by yourself :

those who dont know how big is e gaming, can't understand... people spend 200$ just for different 'clothing' for their characters...
This gun skin/camouflage was sold at 61k $.

Knee is a world champ for a long time, he can play with any character in tekken.

It is that the new guy beat him with a new style in one tournament.

there are a lot of players which can beat Knee. Knee cant even win a single round from them, I personally know many players in my area Mughalpura who can beat the hell out of these so called players. The problem is that these poor champs has no sponsors...
    Knee is just easy peezy

It has been a long time since I played street fight style games, I mostly play strategic and first person shooters, still I appreciate his agility, clean steps, perfect blocking and launching counter attack shows his mental acuity and training.. The guys in video has done a perfect commentary.

Hmmm, don't see esports scene growing in Pakistan, unless there are drastic infrastructural changes. It depends on too many factors, I would try to highlight few.

    1) Our insane love for one and only one game Cricket. Majority of people here in Pakistan only know one sport and that's Cricket. Our hockey suffered because of it, our squash suffered because of it, our snooker suffered because of it and so many other sports.

    2) Lack of facilities, bad internet, poor personal hardware and no access to gaming facilities. On top of that only a limited amount of people are into esport, since no one here considers it a sport.

    3) There are too many esport games and every esport game is different and has varied community size, which results in varied profitability of different games. Every esport game has different criteria of earning money e.g; Dota 2 has multiple tournaments, and players get rewarded based of their tournament performances, while League of legend or Overwatch league have seasons(spring/summer with World Finals) and players get paid like a normal employee + tournament prizes. There are starcraft players who earn several million dollars per year, I have heard Faker(league of legends player) had a contract with SKT telecom for 5 million dollars per year. Yet we 200 million people love and adore one shitty sport(Cricket) whose world cup tournament is worth 15 million. Dota 2 The International alone has a prize pool of 25 million $ and it keeps on increasing every year.
Tekken 7 , Street Fighter 5, Super Smash Bros 4, Call of Duty, Dota 2, HOTS, LoL, Counter Strike G.O. There are so many games with so much money...

Even with all that if some kid managed to make his name like this thread or Syed Sumail Hassan (Dota 2 player for evil geniuses team who has earned more than 2.5 million $ while being at the age of 15), then I would consider them as lucky. Because resources here are quite negligible. But still a proud moment because India has a little better facilities then we have yet I haven't heard any Indian name in esports. I mean it's quite pathetic of them since they have 1.34 billion population.

It's just sad that a player like Sumail had to go to US and play for their region NA(North America), instead of playing and making a team out of players from Asia, because of lack of facilities. I think his whole family is now shifted to US and his brother has also joined some team..

Some of these games are known to improve reaction time and temporarily boost fluid intelligence, side effects are they can increase chance of myopia and are known to be addictive, in S Korea I believe their is even a clinic specially catering to gaming addicts,I kid you not.Kudos bhai
