India Had Offered To Evacuate Pakistani Students From Wuhan
February 7, 2020 Indian Defence

In the Rajya Sabha on Friday, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar presented his stand on the condition of corona virus. The Foreign Minister said that when we sent the aircraft to bring our students from Wuhan (China), we had openly offered to all our neighbors that India would also help in evacuating their people.

Maldives showed positive attitude on this offer. After this, we have brought the seven Maldives students and people. Soon everyone will be transported to their country.

Misleading title not a single explicit mention of Pakistan instead the term "all neighbours" is used. And read again it says "were prepared to bring back not only our people but also those from all our neighbourhood who would have liked to".
And anyways we apologise for any such offers. Shouldn't have been made in the first place , not our responsibility nor should care unilaterally

This for nothing but a stupid PR stunt by your government which backed fired because no Pakistani no matter how miserable they are would seek Indian help. We would prefer to die first.
Your FO could have simply said hey we have no diplomatic relations with Pakistan or they are seriously downgraded and hence we cannot offer anything at all. This way you could have saved the embarrassment but in your quest to embarrass Pakistan, India got embarrassed instead and now you are just trying to play with words.

I have heard Pakistanis coming to India for medical treatment. In the recent cricket World Cup as well, Pakistan was seeking India's help for qualifying for the semi finals. Many Pakistanis were actually praying that India win the game.

Pakistanis used to come to India, that was before shit hit the fan. Now we dont. And where did you get this idea that we were seeking your help to qualify for worldcup? That was only natural that if India won, it will put Pakistan into the semi finals which you lost deliberately to England. Praying India wins so that Pakistan too gets a chance into semi finals does not equate into seeking Indian help. Some verdic logic you have....:disagree:

This is news from not more than 3 years back.
https://www.indiatimes.com/news/ind...s-who-get-treatment-and-love-here-357293.html

Also, till not more than a year ago, Pakistan was having trade with India. So your rhetoric that Pakistanis will die than take help from India is baseless.

Praying India wins so that Pakistan too gets a chance into semi finals does not equate into seeking Indian help.
But that's dependency isn't it? And when you are dependent on others, what do you do? Seek help right?
Anyway, I know that's not technically taking help but I was trying to reply to you in a funny way.

Trade and Help are two different words in British English. Didnt know they are used as synonyms in Gangu Hinglish.

Go and read the article first before talking here. She went there in 2017.

If you know its not what you are implying, that only means you are talking nonsense and wasting forum bandwidth. Clutching to straws isnt going to help you win an argument, funny or otherwise.

Have you not read what I've written just above the link. Atleast read properly what I've written.

Lol I'm talking nonsense when you say a Pakistani would rather die than take India's help. Any neutral reader can understand the stupidity of the statement. I gave proof of Pakistanis medical visits to India which were 3 years ago not 30 years ago. I don't even think I need to argue with you.

Trade and Help are two different words in British English. Didnt know they are used as synonyms in Gangu Hinglish.
What is trade anyway? Trade is two countries helping each other right? Or is that too hard for you to understand?
