Pakistani judge resigns after video is posted of him boogying with 'dancing girl'.
By The Associated Press August 2, 2012 6:01 AM

ISLAMABAD - Officials say a Pakistani judge has resigned after a video was posted on YouTube of him boogying with a so-called "dancing girl" at a party celebrating his brother's engagement.

Men in Pakistan often invite dancing girls — many of whom are prostitutes — to perform at such all-male events before weddings, akin to U.S. bachelor parties.

Videos of these parties are often posted on the Internet, but it's rare for a public official to be caught in such a scandal.

Judge Mohammed Masood Bilal said Thursday the video was recorded during his brother's engagement party but declined to provide further details.

A court official, Mohammed Maqsood, says Bilal was working as a judge in the central city of Khanewal before he resigned Wednesday.

The video was posted July 20.

If everybody does this, why did he resign. Nobody resigns for attending bachelor party or hen night.

What's the problem in dancing with a girl.. ?? Is it illegal??
Thats just the point ?

Did he violate a law ?

Does he not have a personal life of his own ?

Can those who asked / expected him to quit say for sure that they have never done something like this before or would have LIKED to do something like this.

We all adjust the rear / side view mirrors to check out ladies as we drive - it is not necessarily with lecherous intent.

What wrong did the judge do ?

He resigned, not forced to quit.

The man had some morals so that he resigned after doing such an activity.
Although if he had not resigned, I wouldn't have had a problem, nor most other people.

I am pretty sure his relatives and family members knew it. He was not doing it secretly somewhere. If everybody does it,why hang the guy.
Who is hanging the guy?

He resigned.

I did not mean literally. I was pointing the demonization of him. :)
If it was immoral, he would not have done it in first place. It seems his fault is not dancing, but allowing the video to be captured.
