That part of the world will see conflicts for the rest of human history. There is no denying that nor the fact Pakistan has nothing to do with it.
I agree to the fact that Pakistan perhaps should have remained silent on this issue. I don't like us picking side but what is said and if silence was to be broken then this is fine however statement should not have arrived yet.

Unfortunately the destabilizing of that region effects us.

Saddam or Baath party saw Pakistan as a worthless counterweight which resulted in what they are right now.
Yes. Saddam was a poor ruler and although Iraq is definitely worse off than it was under saddam due to american war, his rule was also very negative and his countless wars were simply foolish.

As far as destabilizing Balochistan is concerned. You need to see no further than your immediate neighbours to the west if you are infact looking for someone to blame.
I don't absolve the role of neighbors especially the law less lands and mountains and a very very hostile country which has hated us since inception but there is no denying that Iraq played a role in destabilizing Baluchistan to effect Iran... We also see such a thought process in UAE analysts.

Why Pakistan is opposing the referendum when 90% of the Kurd's vote favored Independence? Pakistan Kashmir case will be weakened. You cannot say people's wish for referendum in Kashmir should be respected while, deny a vote on referendum by Kurds. Seem Pakistan doesn't want to anger Turkey and again sacrificing its national interests for Turkey.
\

I haven't seen a date for the Kashmir referendum yet. Do you know something?

Yeah why not
Not yet, the Punjabis haven't finished making the majority. ;)

The problem with pakistan is we take stands and stay with one party . Learn from india damn they are open to everyone
Maybe if u would get ur head out of ur *** and stop pretending to be smart we can actually ponder whats at work here, iraq is already a non existant entity, the kurdish refrendum is to target turkey, its turkey who has the biggest kurd problem and turks are our all weather allies hence we will n must take a clear stand, we are not whores that remain open to everyone.....

Saddam was no different to your Bhutto or Zia when it comes to power struggle. Or Gaddafi or Mubarek.
Those were different times and the need of the people were different. The world was stuck between Pan isms and the hippie trends or student revolutions. Those who took advantage of that are still ruling the arab world one way or the other.

As far as Balochistan is concerned. Unless and until you have fair distribution of wealth and resource in that part of the country and mainstream them with the rest, opportunists will keep flocking to that. UAE and Oman and others are no different than any other nation of the world which sees economic growth in the region as a direct threat to them.

Our pan Islamists like Bhutto or some say left fascists made pathetic dumb deals with Iran when it comes to utilizing the natural resources in Balochistan. Thankfully we have somehow no short of miracle survived it otherwise Greater Balochistan was on the cards early in the 80s.

Arabs cannot grasp the values of democracy. It is beyond them. So this will just continue till someone makes a big booboo and the land is either barren or lost to marauders.

we stand by our friends unlike u chankya opportunist banyas who ditched a vetern sincere ally like russia for usa, what idiot countries like india dont realise that such policies of playing both sides may prove beneficial in the short term but they prove disastarous in the long term, but than again if u banyas were long sighted u wouldnt have been ruled by two foriegn powers for over a thousand years...

You have a relationship with the Turkish state not the Turkish government. That country is reeling from the political turmoil our 'in law' Mehmet has created.

The day Saddam was toppled, Iraq was divided into three.

sir mene kisi kurdi kay aankh me aansoo dekhen hai or kisi ko cheekhen maar maar kay rota dekha hai mithai hath me pakre uss din...

ye mamla bohat pecheeda hai. hum nahi kuch kar sakte.

or ye turki turki maantra sirf pmln ka khara hua hai or kuch nahi. ye turki ki wajah se aaj ganja bahar ghoom raha hai

Food for thought:

You know it took less than 6 months for Iraq to recognize Bongladesh.
The first Arab country to do so.
Iraqi consulte was also raided and huge cache of weapons (to be supplied to bla etc) were recovered....

Egypt was also pro india.

Infact all socialist arab states .. supported by USSR.. were pro india...

But that was in the past.

We only have to say that currently we favor united Iraq , and we need to keep our mouth shut down about Kurds.
We need to learn some Diplomacy ,,,,,,,,,,,, Fak our Foreign Office.
Wait and see need to be our policy , especially about those countries which are not strong allies or Ally of our enemy.
Kurd problem also effects Iran,,,,,,,,,,,, Persian ego going to get hurt very soon,,,,,,,,, As I said on other thread Iran is not that strong any more and this is only one example.
And on serious note , that region will never be untied or stabilize again, It all depend on how you look at things .
Stay away from Iraq or any other country , Fence our Border with Afghnsitan and As I said with Iran , And send all Afghanis back home..................
Very hard time coming ahead , and we also have a 7X bigger enemy to deal with.

Sir ye bohat pecheeda mamlat hai. Ek off the street Kurd is as conservative as a desi.

Political hijackings and point scoring chalti rehti hai.

Per turki khud stable nahi hai. State secular or government islamist. Ye ziada der nahi chalega. Chacha Recep ka sab se purana ittehadi Uncle Sam hai.

You should learn from the past then.

Future ain't too bright for anyone in the middle east.

Sorry but again Pakistanis are being emotional and spiritual about simply diplomacy.
