So if you get more money all other arguments will go away? How is this not degrading?

Nobody is asking Pakistan to go there and protect Qatar. They are only asking Pakistan to make use of her experience in counter terrorism strategies and making sure FIFA World Cup takes place in secure and sound environment.

Next thing you know Qatar will invite French or other troops and you will see the same people dancing to the tune of allowing "infidels" in Arabia.
You know and I know how people of Pakistan are sold for peanuts all along. No need to act smart here. All I am saying, that state needs to understand that security related matters carry HUGE premium. Look at yanks and how much they charged the GCC for fighting against Saddam.

As things stands, we are the best in security related issues. They wanna hire French instead, by all means.

Because our leader underestimate our nation. Our Pakistani student outperform everyone in foreign universities and we produce world class professional which easily absorb in West. We are totally dependent in two fields.
1. providing labor.
2.Security related.
Instead we should be more focus in IT,Engineering and Med fields. Look into GCC demands and try to match them and push the GCC govt to hire Pakistani. But unfortunately .... we confined our self to lower cadre.
Now its very hard because Indian has fully controlled the GCC respectable and highly paid services.
you could gave gotten all those jobs only if you had the ability to think different.

it did not come on the platter you wished it to be on—-but it did come and you could have availed the opportunity and build it to your advantage.

but no why would you do that—why would a pakistani do something that makes sense.

the us has no problem the uk has no problems and neither does france russia.

muslims used to have no problems either adventure into spain or begging Hajaj bin Yusuf to help them against hindu tyranny and 100 other places.
At what price? You wanna let your men guard the sheikhs places and infra in 50 degrees, middle of desert. Yanks extracted the maximum out of GCC in gulf wars and what we have done with our "presence"? Some deferred oil payments, is that it?

They are appreciating our credentials and thus the talks of Pakistan's help to Qatar in hosting the Fifa World Cup.

People are sold for even less than a peanut inside Pakistan so worry about that too maybe a little.

The civilian government of Pakistan whoever that may be, can negotiate for whatever PREMIUM it feels warranted.

For a person who was just getting all sensitive about being a mercenary, it is not very wise to cite examples of Saddam and blood money of Iraqis.

Fk credentials , show me the money..

Whatever happens in Pakistan, STAYS in Pakistan. And cut the crap about mercenaries, I never said that. Security got the max premium and must be paid through the nose. Maybe you are happy with our men paid peanuts while yanks are extracting huge sums from GCC both in term of cash and geopolitics, I am not.

Is Pakistan not under imposed war by India as popular opinion say? If that is the case, you would need that oil for your war machine against India.
And just to please The South-western border neighbours who have always played against us and with our enemy, we avoided the GCC conflict *facepalm*

Nobody is stopping you from negotiating better compensation for the services being offered.

Treat it as a business transaction and not as a matter of honor or something.

I am not happy about the defense cuts by the PTI government as well.
