Pakistan Navy on Wednesday demonstrated its ability to respond to any aggression by conducting a test fire of a cruise missile from its recently commissioned PNS Himmat near Karachi.

The Fast Attack Craft (Missile) PNS HIMMAT, built at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW), was commissioned at Pakistan Navy Dockyard Karachi last year in July. PNS HIMMAT is a 63 meters long Fast Attack Craft fitted with state of the art weapons and sensor.

The Harba is an indigenously built sea-to-sea cruise missile which can also hit the target on the land. The missile achieved its target successfully during the Wednesday’s demonstration

Ship-launched variant of Babur-2, naturally with a radar seeker. Wait for ISPR's press release for more details.

KARACHI – Pakistan Navy on Wednesday demonstrated its ability to respond to any aggression by conducting a test fire of a cruise missile from its recently commissioned PNS Himmat near Karachi.

The missile achieved its target successfully during the Wednesday’s demonstration.

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi witnessed the demonstration from PNS Alamgir. According to the Navy, this successful demonstration of weapon firing is a manifestation of the reliability of Pak Navy firepower.

Speaking on the occasion, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi expressed his satisfaction on the operational preparations of naval fleet.

more like a ship based c602 as shown in post 4. id expect the babur being vertically launched via ship.
so then this means either the zarb is a coastal based variant for the c602/harbra or even the c802 or something we have not seen. would be quiet strange if its based of the c602 as i dont see the point in giving it a new name.

Now top it up by testing a longer range mobile ballistic missile

Nope. Babur can be launched vertically, but our naval assets lack the real estate for it. Just because the launch canisters look the same, doesn't means Harbah is a variant of C-602.

indeed it can be launch via canister diagonally. but i fail to believe that. why put such advance missiles on a small fac? the c602 is just as good/minus the range. also the missile being red and white id think this would be a test fire not a deployed missile.
pakistan has just signed for the type 54 frigates. is id expect they would be fitted with vls babur and canister c602's/harbra
