Today Pakistan Navy is celebrating the 51st anniversary of its elite Special Service Group, the SSGN commonly known as “Naval Commandos”.
SSGN was raised on March 29, 1967.

RAS-72 Maritime Patrol Aircraft assigned to No.29 Sqn Pakistan Naval Air Arm.
It is equipped with a multimode long-haul radar and an EO/IR sensor for air, maritime and ground surveillance. It also incorporates a sonar system with sonobuoy launchers.
