Pakistan is always follow the policy of keeping new weapons at low profile. Announce the most essential levels . Not a bit more. Keeping the range in some specific km is an obvious example of that policy. Don't alarm the big players at big scale. Only keep it minimal requisites.

NK is under UN sanctions for violations of NPT and other treaties.

Pak cannot be sanctioned by UN as it never signed NPT or any other treaty in this regard.

This whole debate on concealing the range is kinda absurd. Keeping in mind that most of our enemies have much better capability and sources to assess actual range. So the idea that we deliberately test a missile with shorter range so as not to pinch uncal Sam or Jews is foolish. Yes it gives a public message but we don't need to do that.

One thing we also forgot is if Pakistan wants to target Israel than we will be welcomed by more than few to come and fire our missiles frim their soil.
Pakistan with its current active missile can easily target Israel from our own land. So no need to hide actual range for fear of Israel. However there may be other reason most likely keeping an ambiguous status of our capabilities. and surprise factor.

I explained Israel has that range missile bevause it has influence. And no one of importance (ie. America. Europe. Russia. China) will question why they need that range. When their enemies are ME.
