Diplomacy, is not just talking, but laying down the consequence as well if certain things are not done or achieved, and thats on behalf of the state, FO is tasked with. It happens everywhere. At the moment, Qureshi is the only face of Pakistan visible on this issue, Bajwa is not doing his "military diplomacy". So it must be assumed that this path of "raising issue" and "protesting" is all brain child of FM Qureshi. Obviously, this approach is a non starter will achieve nothing. So naturally all criticism will be directed towards Qureshi.

I am not interested in his "Challangain". There are many people I have seen in my professional life who try to look busy for the sake of it but achieve nothing. This has got the same vibes.
Okay, I say Foreign Minister immediately threaten Israel with nukes and raise an Army and lead them to Israel. General Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Wasting your political leverage on people that just don't really care about you in any way. Half of Kashmir is lost and with zero backing from anyone and here you are, the insecure idiot who needs run around for people that just don't really care if you are Indian or Pakistani.

IK should have gone in first place considering the seriousness of the situation and FM should have accompanied to solve this issue.

When will we do something about Kashmir? Our sympathies are with Palestine, but who will stand with pakistan when it comes to Kashmir?
If the precedent is built against the settler-colonialism in Palestine, then the case of making the same argument against the Indians in Kashmir will be much easier. (Hindu extremists are supporting what Israel is doing, and while the Indian government officially states it supports the just Palestinian cause, you won’t see them being a strong advocate because they know the tables can be turned on them in a similar manner)

Also, the event of the past week have somewhat unified the world that the status quo can no longer stand. Getting the world to push for a resolution of the issue is crucial, particularly the US and Europe.

If the Arab countries push for definitive action on the Palestinian cause and the US and Europe build a narrative against the status quo of occupation, it is more than likely something will happen, because they themselves are tired of dealing with Mideast instability. (Frankly the West will never be able to deal with China with its full might if it’s bogged down in pointless conflicts in the Middle East. China’s entire night is focused on the US and the global order the US set up since Brentwoods)

This is the same formula for the Kashmir cause with India. If the Arab countries, Europe, and the US are unified to put Pressure on India for change or else India faces the consequence of economic or political sanctions, they are bound to at the very least make concessions, and that creates and opening for the Kashmiris to push for their own Azadi. The Kashmiri political leadership and business class needs to be convinced, more than anything these days, to stop sitting on the fence and push for Azadi if they ever really want it.

he is simply wasting money of poor pakistanis which deserve better treatment then gaza .
I agree. But whose fault is that? Pakistani people. You see how crazy they went on PDF. Some asking for sending the army etc. Qureshi is part of a political government. Politicians feel the pulse of the public. If media nad Pakistan public is going crazy about Palestine it would not look good if Qureshi was sat in Islamabad. So he has to act and showbazi by taking photo ops with Turkish FM, Palestinina FM etc to show the stupid awaam that he is on a jihad like PDF warriors were on a jihad on the Gaza thread.

Funny thing is I did not see Mohammed Bin Salman or Sheikhs of Gulf even bother taking photo ops. Shows us where this will go. Nothing will happen. I have become used to this rubbish over the decades. I remember as a young man be shocked and horrified when Israeli's literally had Palestinians butchered including women and children in Sabra Shatila camps. Three decades later absoultely nothing happened.

And nothing will happen here as well.

No disrespect to our FM at all but the last time I listened to him in one of the current affairs program his answer to the question of “do we see any kinetic (military) response to this time by any Country since time is running out” was something like:

“Dekheiyey yey koi gudda gurya ka khel nahi horaha hey ... aap or mein or humarey saathi muslim mumalik ke sarbarhaan achi tarhan jaantey hein ke is issue ka hal “baat cheet” mein hey ... dekhiyey hum koi aesa qadam jald baazi mein nahi uthayengey jis se humarey or saathi Arab mumalik mein dhooriyan peda hon...humarey khayaal mein is masaley ka hal kinetic response nahi hey”

And I was thinking you should read posts on PDF and probably you will get boost of gherat e Imaani as well as some better ideas ... may be ... or may be not
I have never been comfortable with SMQ as FM. He hardly talk or represent the ground realities, nor the wishes of majority of Pakistani citizens. You always get this negative vibes about him that he represent the western narrative. Besides, he is an old fashioned diplomat, in this day and age, you need someone who can do some hard talking. Shireen Mazari would have been a better choice, even though she got some luggage.

What a childish response. I am sure you know what I meant, but hey , whatever floats your boat.

and if this "precedent" fails, what happens then?
Different “Cases”/crisis come up time and again, there just need to be one precedent that gets through to create a paradigm shift. The opposition has to win all the time, the Palestinians just need to win once to get the ball rolling.

You didn't answer the question.
