Tupolev?? You mean the Russian aircraft manufactor Tupolev? Sorry, but what can they contribute especially for marketing?
IMO Tupolev is not really famous for marketing and overall, when did they sell an aircraft the last time?
Because it would make it easier to sell to the old warsaw pact countries. And Sukhoi is too busy developing the Su 57. But you're probably right. Not the best option.
It could be also Embraer or Antonov I think both companies would jump at the chance to take part in a 5. generation fighter development project.
I think we should try to do what americans did with the JSF program, get as many countries involved as possible.
