there are some Pakistani trolls online, but i have never met a fellow Pakistani face-to-face that is unhappy with Bangladesh's progress. its not even a topic of conversation on a day to day basis. nobody in Pakistan still talks about 1971 and the crimes that all sides committed. we moved on long ago, but clearly many in Bangladesh havent moved on, and dont want to move on.

I blame Indian influence in Bangladesh not Bangladeshis , just like America has moved away from Pearl Harbor but many still hate the Japanese til this day.

honestly i think a lot fewer Japanese hate USA and vice versa than Bangladeshis that hate Pakistan. Japan and USA are allies of one another and trade a lot. but yeah, i blame the behaviour of those Bangladeshis that hate Pakistan after 5 decades on India and Awami League. 100% this is done to make sure Bangladesh has no allies in the region and left to rely completely on India and live under their foot forever. there is so much for Bangladesh and Pakistan to gain from each other (geopolitics, military, trade) if they just start acting normal to each other. not all Bangladeshis hate us. my family are muhajirs from Bihar, and many of my ancestors settled in East Pakistan. they left around 71 to West Pakistan when problems started, some before December 1971, some after. a couple of years ago my cousin married a Bangladeshi girl he met in Dubai, she had no problems with us being Bihari muhajirs. her parents were a little hesistant before they met him, his family, and extended family. they realised we were just normal muslims that happen to be Pakistani, and consented to the marriage and everyone is happy Alhamdulillah. she lives with my cousin and his parents and his brothers in Canada.

Thanks Bhai. We will also be happy if Pakistan prosper day by day . And other than some keyboard warrior and attention seeker , no one in Bangladesh talk about 1971 . It became a business and political tool of BAL .

Online trolls ( from any country) are vicious , it's hard to report their every posts and also hard to ignore their all messages.

Still we should try to remain cool , although few times lost temper . It's part of life as we aren't Machine.

As Muslim nation , Pakistan is and will always be nearer to the heart of Bangladeshi people ,I can assure you.

So please don't pay attention what is happening in an online forum.

To start with, as a Pakistani and more importantly as a Muslim, I am happy and proud of Bangladeshis surging up as a nation with a growing economy. A true Muslim is one who has no malice in their hearts for the other's success. Be confident in yourself, back yourself up toward success and be positive in your stride. Pakistan has much to gain, tremendous growth to attain, both economically and as a united nation.

However the author of the article, hudbhoy (or whatever he calls himself) is deviant saboteur with words. His mindset is that of a buffoon with a college degree. It doesn't matter if you have a doctorate, or some laurette, or whatever badge of distinction you flaunt around. Real education is one which stems from the principles of the teachings of Nabi Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam. And hubris is something what Nabi Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam explicitly teaches us to abstain from, at all costs. However, this hudbhoy character seems to be overflowing with it. Using the success of one Muslim nation, to rub salt in the wound of another. Now that is characteristically not something that a real Muslim would do.

As I have said unrelentingly to my fellow countrymen, that you cannot be a Muslim unless you have approached the Noble Qur'an with sincerity, and studied it. Then to fuse this study with modern education, with you heart and soul staunchly in submission to Allah Subhanahu Wata'aalah. Pakistan has an engagement with destiny, and Pakistanis do not realize that this is dead certain that we have greatness to attain. It's in our blood, in the blood of every Muslim.

What is greatness? Does one measure it with GDP? With what BMW or Mercedes Benz you drive? With the size of your Bank Account? What how many doctorates you have? The answer is a resounding NO! All of the above are subsequential, not primary. One who conquers one's Nafs, by challenging one's self to fight to preserve Imaan, does attain greatness. Because once you have established Imaan, what follows is the conquest of the challenges that this world has in store for us. This is the vision which every Muslim, be he/she Pakistani, Arab, Bangladeshi, Turkish, Egyptian or any other nationality, it is inconsequential. When you go six feet under, it's not your doctorates, nor your Bank balance, nor your GDP, neither your fame or power that will determine when your accounts are opened up and punishment or reward begins right there in the grave.

So my dear countrymen, my fellow Pakistanis and every Muslim reading this, I urge you .... please approach the Noble Qur'an with sincerity, use this to establish and preserve your Imaan. And when you have achieved walking this path, take on life by the horns and set your sights on every educational goal, invention, capabilities in science, medicine, engineering and everything else under the bright Shams. Remember, you can only achieve unity as a nation, when you have conquered your Nafs by approaching the Noble Qur'an and submitting unconditionally to Allah Subhanahu Wata'aalah.

And as some Pakistani only pointed out to me even the stoutest defence of Lahore during 1965 was conducted by Bengali / Bangla soldiers. Is this true?
Yeah. East Bengal regiment. Under equipped unit of Pakistan army then because they were bengalis. Was put on duty in behind the frontlines. When Indians pushed through the flanks onto lahore, punjabi units were elsewhere in Rajasthani... EBR was told to hold em off... many soldiers had strapped mine to themselves and blown up Indian tanks to stop the advance. Indian officers dream of sipping tea at lahore was hence stopped.
in 1965 east Bengal regiment was the most decorated unit of Pakistan army.
All Pakistani troops were deployed on border, this myth is as true as 3 million killed.
For 9 months? 😂😂😂
When Indians pushed east, the only strong Pakistani defence outside of Dhaka was in shinomoni
That’s where a tank battle went down. Now taught in military academies around the world.

Barely any Americans hate Japan due to Pearl Harbor and barely any Japanese hate America due to The atomic bombs. That’s where the line I mentioned in my earlier post. Countries have moved on to help each other and become economic powerhouses after doing worst things to each other. Nobody hates Germany anymore despite what they did, and none of these nations apologize to each other all day. Pakistan has tried the same. BD does not.
That’s why BD isn’t the same. BD complains over something they themselves can’t prove happened. And don’t tell me that I’m one of the people who thinks West Pakistanis were innocent, so read my first post if you want to reply to this one.

And just to close off my previous posts: I am obviously happy that Bangladesh is prospering, as I said I respect the people there and want better for them and from them. Both as a human and as a Muslim. But it is highly unfair to do such comparisons and blame Pakistan for things just so you can act like a victim, especially with nothing to back it up. I made some good friends in Bangladesh and I am still happy I lived there and got to experience it. But if you keep doing such comparisons you will only degrade yourself. Both our countries have a long way to go, so instead of making dumb comparisons, let’s make useful alliances and move forward. Bangladesh suffered the war of 71’ as I admitted. But if we can forget the atrocities you committed, literal terrorism, to seek a better future, you need to do the same, because despite everything, Pakistanis are still taught it was our fault. That was enough for every other country, just not BD. And that’s why you will not move forward or ahead of Pakistan, and when and if you people do realize that and move ahead of Pakistan. You will not see Pakistanis being spiteful, you will see them being supportive. that’s all I have left to say on this topic. Good Day.

What was the point of this thread?

BD and Pakistan will always be destined to either succeed or fail together.

The two countries represent Islam politically in the sub-continent, with both having a common interest and that is to try to stop India dominating the region.

Arguing with each other is not going to help and this is exactly what Hinduvta India wants.

Yes BD is doing some good things in economy and maybe Pakistan can learn a thing or two. On the other hand, BD has a useless airforce and time that they asked PAF, who are one of the best airforces in the world, for help in how to turn themselves around and stop being such an embarrassment.

a good first step would be upgrading the Bangladesh airforce. last i checked they are still using MiG29s as their latest fighter jets and constantly buying trainer aircraft.

I believe this was fought with M24 Chaffee Light recon tanks on Pakistan side, supplied refurbished from WWII overstocks by US. Indian onslaught was using much heavier and more modern Soviet tanks, an uneven match.

One is still displayed in the South entrance of Dhaka Cantonment. Bangladesh inherited ten from Pakistan Army stocks.
