WASHINGTON: Amidst new peace overtures from the

    Imran Khan
    government after the re-election of

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi
, the White House has made it clear to Pakistan that the onus for sustained peace in South Asia was on it by putting the terror groups out of business.

Khan has written a second letter
to Prime Minister Modi after his re-election, saying that Pakistan wants talks with India to resolve all differences, including on the Kashmir issue.

The Pakistani premier said talks between the two nations were the only solution to help both countries' people overcome poverty and that it was important to work together for regional development.

    However,

India has rejected Pakistan's offer of talks
, maintaining that terror and talks cannot go together and said that no bilateral meeting has been planned between the two premiers on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Summit (SCO) in Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek on June 13-14.

LOL a big middle finger to America and India.

Imran Khan can write letters all day long. Won't have any impact. RSS thugs only know one thing and that is language of war.

    Economics
Plain and simple; If Pakistan has a strong and robust economy (that is not dependent on more than 10-15% of export to the US) it will be respected and have its interests respected.

India has put in the hard work, over the last 30 years, and is now cashing in on its hard won reforms after the 1989-1991 economic crisis.

It is never too late for that. The way I see it, we are working on it by diversifying our economy.

We finally got the Americans in a position where they can be scared permanently in Afghanistan.

The Americans are stubborn and extremely arrogant. These are the same Americans that have been screaming that they will never negotiate with the Taliban. Yet here we are.

I think Pakistan should wait it out. The talks with the Taliban are looking to head nowhere. The Americans will be back to their old strategy which is a failed recipe.

After decades Pakistan, China and Russia among others are on the same page. Call it fate or circumstances. We need to wait and see how the Taliban talks conclude. We need to decide after the talks what our policy should be. The Yanks are cornered in Afghanistan. Their strategies have failed. The combined efforts of US, India and NATO allies could not bring harmony to the Afghan land. The Americans fully understand that this is a lost cause. Hence the desperation to hold negotiations with the Taliban.

Let's wait and strike collectively with Russia and China if need be. If there is a time to bleed your enemy dry this is exactly the right time.

We will see. We are ready for any eventuality.

Like I said, we are in firm control of the situation.

All options are on the table.

Your dealings in Afghanistan go through Pakistan. Just like you came begging for the supply routes to be reopened after Salala attack peace in Afghanistan can ONLY be facilitated by the regional countries including Pakistan.

Your bailout blackmail can only go so far.

Your hands are tied and you can only bark like a dog without teeth. 18 years of persistent failure has proved this crystal clear.

LOL just like you cannot beat the Taliban even with India and NATO forces.

We will cut the supply routes whenever the need arises. LOL I like it how you are so stressed out about it. Don't forget your medication today before you go to sleep.
