Imran Khan’s pressure is running these crooks ragged.

They thought with America’s blessing, boys going neutral, pay the turncoats, it will be a fairy tale ride until next elections. And corruption and loot maar of this nation will be their and their kids destiny.

It's tricky.

IMF won't give money, allies won't give money if IMF won't, and so on.

We might see 4 day weeks, curfew after 8 or 9 in markets, and other such measures. The import measures taken right now are cosmetic, they don't have any real impact on the import bill. We might see a complete ban on CBU as well soon. Right now it was removed at the last moment due to pressure by the auto companies.

Let's see what happens.

That is why a government is for 4/5 years, so you can take the tough decisions without worrying about the political ramifications.

ban on imports they have planned will effect the import bill not more than USD250 million a month, mostly on mobile phones and cars.

If PDM does not want to lose political capital then flying to Russia and completing the oil deal would be their best bet.

I am sure they’ll burst the air out of Islamabad jalsa and win next elections.

Come on Shahbaz, Miftah, Dar, Hamza.

Think again! Mufta heading to doha as IMF adamant on abolition of subsidies. Stuck between a rock 🪨 and a hard place 😪
It is a useless trip. The problem is they could have reversed all these subsidies and put the blame squarely ion IK shoulders. They would have been in a much better position to talk to IMF and the houses of Saud and other Middle Eastern houses. If Zardari is the architect of this deal he may well ask Blinken to not give anything to this government as the blame comes on the PML N while he gets off Scot free. meanwhile the country is systematically destroyed and economy allowed to go in a tailspin from which it will take it years to recover. It is heart breaking to see as we were just on the verge of recovering.

It's not a useless trip, it will actually be a reality check. Enough of the optics we have seen from this dysfunctional government. Time to take hard decisions. You're in the hot seat 💺 now start taking responsibility and enough of the obfuscation.

Ban of import will deteriorate the tax revenue. LOL
That is indeed an objective. You can expect Miftah to raise interest rates as well. The aim would be to slow the economy and arrest the trajectory of CAD. Overall less imports mean less $ outflow

All thanks to the people who think they are the men at their best and nobody thinks better in the interest of the country than them. Bajwa and Co May you rot in the worst of hell after death.
Never were better words said. He developed policy differance with IK? Or issues around who is next ISI chief? This scumbag then threw tantrum like a infant then proceeded to screw over 220 million people and unleash chaos in Pakistan by bringing these convicts into power. There is old Hollywood movie called the 'Dirty Dozen\. Well Bajwa helped dirty dozen to capture Pakistan.

Because this bag of lard could not cope with not being on the same page as the government. Now the entire fcukin country is not even in the same book leave alone same page.

If this was a western or East Asian state he would be hung by his balls for sedition and treason.

Could result in a revolution as well.
Maybe some of us would be happy to see that.

Seriously it's tme Pakistani generals just stayed within GHQ. Focus on defeating India, if you can't do that focus on defeating BLA and if you can't do that resign. But leave politics to the politicians - I mean I am even now apt to say I would prefer Zardari or Nawaz to a general and this is saying something. Reason is these dirty bunch would eventually be turfed out by electoral process. The political system would refine.

Now I would support generals if they could produce one Ataturk, half of Pinochet, quarter of Evren or 1/10 De Gaulle. But in 75 years GHQ has not produced no general anywhere close to these guys. So fcukin stay in GHQ or get a job as bank security guard if you can't sort out BLA and give the country peace in Balochistan.

Frankly I have 100 times more respect for Sri Lankan Army for the fight they did against Tamil Tigers who were a foe to fear. But eventually they decimated them. And this when maybe 25% of Sri Lanka was with Tamil Tigers.

Our cnuts can't even sort out BLA when they feed from a demographic pool that is less than 1% of Pakistan.

Inflow will also stop. Don't expect other countries to show mercy on Pakistan. Turkey is a prime example, it tried everything and everything failed.

I don't know what you mean by other countries show mercy on Pakistan? You mean offer credit?

Turkey has not increased interest rates, have they? This was one of their key problems to begin with
