He has still not verified India's account of events. Gentlemanly or not is irrelevant. India needs to ask serious questions of this guy for failing to corroborate the official iaf narrative of a weapon discharged and a downed f16.

Moreover, when all that is required of him during custody is to state his rank and number, what idiocy is it to even talk of Kashmir and what not? Is Indian counter-interrogation training so damned useless? I'm shocked reading these statements. The tea lark was amusing I guess but wow, this chap is sounding like some ambassador rather than a military professional. Pakistan has learned a lot about its enemy from this episode.

Can you give me credible and neutral sources of your facts?

Relations go bad from various factors. A tweet in bad taste from your highest office obviously contributes in that.

Good, I need Pakistanis with high IQ to interact with.
don't interact with people who have psychological issues , they need psychologists .

we had 93000 such prisioners , never resorted to such cheap tactics to humiliate captured soldiers .
Do you honestly think our guys would talk about tea and candles for peace?? Gimme a break. Enough is enough. Man is a soldier. Behave like one.

Our soldiers never beat him either. And our civilians just roughed him up a little, to be expected given the attempt a day before by India to bomb civilians in a school. If you think war is all cupcakes and pleasantries, don't leave the kitchen.

I am sure India conducted his debriefing after his return and was satisfied. Hence he is back flying.
You should be happy if he was willing to talk more than stating his rank and number. What is your compliant?

India is "Vishwa-Guru" (Teacher of the world). I am happy you learnt something from a fellow Indian due to that episode.

I think he was in shock after he was captured. Replaying the events that led him to his interrogation, he thought HE was couldn’t tell the difference between the Pakistanis that captured him and Indians, or perhaps he was appealing to his hosts for mercy by saying the people’s of both nations were the same. The head and body movements and facial expression during the tea statement showed how relaxed he was at that point. (Pakistani interrogation team did a good job breaking this guy’s discipline)

Finally, he indulged his need to justify his actions, talking of Kashmir, and the futility of fighting. This was very telling.

Indeed, a lot was learned about the IAF and its inner psychological workings (morale, situational awareness, etc.) from this incident.

30 years bogged down in Kashmir has really done a number on the Indian military and national psyche.

This soldier is an exception among Indians. Most are not like him. I do respect Indians with integrity. But most Indians with integrity have left India. Few brave souls still remain in India in their futile effort to change India. But their efforts would be better served to break up India first for the sake of the whole world.

Mr. Faithful, are you a Pakistani or a Taiwanese or an American? Can you please clarify.
Have you lived in India? If not, how can you be so sure about the integrity of Indians living in India and outside?
Our enemies could not break us so they now expect us to help them in breaking ourselves. Nice one.

Its not about any war mongering, you want it from a Pakistani living in Pakistan, go ask them if they will accept India's peace offer without them giving Kashmiri's their freedom, you will get the same response.

The integrity of Indians are exemplify by their poster on Bharat Rak Shiite. The India media and the bragging attitude of Indians I know. Few are humble but many are prideful. Indians know no shame. I’m a Taiwanese American.

If Indians want to counter China, the best bet is to split up India into small pieces. As India need to revert to the political entity before British arrival to be free from the yoke of British imperialism.
