The Rafale being sold to India are over priced, and considering the current controversy that Modi is wrapped in currently, buying more over priced Rafales will just become ammunition for the opposition. The opposition may end up accusing him of corrupt and taking bribes from Dassault, which would end up with a long investigation, causing an international relations nightmare for Modi. Even if it turns out that Modi is innocent, the damage will already be done.

Well they can claim whatever they want but the world demands proof. Where's the shot down f-16?. Its been 2 years and still nowhere to be found.

Speculations are ongoing about J-10C... I was in my teens when every other month we would hear of PAF exploring the options of M2k5 either new or second hand... the mere stories of it all made me so excited and at the end here we are in 2021 and none of those airframes ever flew with us...
I do want to make a point though... we do not have those aviation photography enthusiasts who pry for any new air frames flying out of manufacturing sites or maybe airbases.. especially like the Chinese enthusiasts... maybe some of our speculative queries would be answered through them...

Israel is HEAVILY invested in drone programs and they're on top of the world for a reason. Are they stupid as well?
What about the Turks who just proved in Armenia-Azerbaijan war how important drones are.

That hue and cry was raised to substantially distance the u.s from Pakistan, which also isnt a new thing for indians to do . Itd be idiotic to assume that iaf fears a handfull pakistani version of handicapped f16's when there are other more potent and advanced categories of aircrafts available to us

Well they can claim whatever they want but the world demands proof. Where's the shot down f-16?. Its been 2 years and still nowhere to be found.

They can find A C 5 in a pile of dung called India but they cannot locate a big F16. Even if it crash landed in Pakistan they should have enough assetts to take a couple of Photographs and propagate it via their press. So in short it is harder to find an F16 than a 120C5
