BD economy is doing better than India but India can afford terrorist activities. Idk about BD CAD and loan situation but from the lack of noise about those I assume they're in good standing so they should be able to afford it.
re-read the question
Wars cost money. Who pays for it ? Who pays for the Rohingyas weapons ?

Brother , war should be the last resort . If you have money ,try to increase your money with saving and investment. If you can grow your economy , you have value nowadays. So there is no way to waste money even if we had double economy.

It's not medieval era and we aren't Mongols.

Modern economy is purely based on business and armed forces should act as defence force to protect the economy, not an offensive force.

Also ,Rohingyas aren't worrior nation like Afghans.

So I don't think they love to live with fighting .

Besides ,Bangladeshi media is controlled by Indian stooge fifth columnists.

If we give arms to Rohingyas ,they will use againsts us because of the constant provocation from those stooges and various N.G.Os ( mostly sugar coated quinine) .

Bangladesh is in a more tricky and inconvenient position than Pakistan in geopolitical map .

So we must take all step very wisely .

It's a disaster that we are isolated from Muslim belt and surrounded by hostile entities .

All very valid points. Hopefully BD can use economic leverage to help resolve this refugee situation.

I need to spell it out for you? B D
Check the Bangladesh budget and calculate the odds of success for 1 million Rohingyas against 40 million Burmese

The real reason is burden of housing 1 million refugees are not a strong enough motivation for Bangladesh to fight with Myanmar. We do not have any territorial claim on Myanmar, nor does Myanmar poses any real threat to our sovereingty and territorial integrity. Cost benefit analysis suggest that Bangladesh should not go for any military operation against Myanmar which will cost us billions of Dollar on armaments, our soldiers life and potentially good economic growth we are now enjoying. If we had a big enough motivation like Kashmir( a strategic territorial prize for Pakistan) against Myanmar then we may have tried ignoring all other factors. But fortunately or unfortunately, we have none. So our govt. is trying it's best through diplomacy.

Never. Rohingya and other muslims were brought by the British when they conquered Myanmar. Muslims are not indigenous to Myanmar.

Moreover Rakhine state is 80% Buddhist so annexation is out of question.

Rohingya muslims should be relocated to Myanmar with full honour and rights. They should be allowed to join the army, and get education, do business, build mosques etc but they cannot become leaders and dictate the original owners of the land.

Myanmar is a Buddhist country, Rohingya and other muslims can live and will have all rights, but they will not be given any position of power or leadership.
Hirthik Barua, why dont you shut your dirty mouth and piss off to burma and serve them like your ancestors.

Minorities cannot become president or prime minister in Pakistan and in other muslim majority nations and it's not apartheid.
Show me some USA Muslim president, and UK Muslim prime minister.

And also never refer your Indian vegetarian president KALAM . Ask your India to make a beef eater their president and then return with your racist remarks.

Also president of India has no power.

I'm asking about Bangladesh, if we add new law to our constitution that no Buddhist can become President, PM, or take any defense or police roles you will accept it? same as you are wanting for Myanmar.

So why doesn't BD strengthen airforce? How is the BD navy seeing that they are a low level country that should be more important.
We have been since 2017 talking about BD Air Force getting 4++ gen aircraft and MRSAMs but we still don't have either one of them

Our leadership is to blame , we can easily crush Myanmar's Air Force if we had our dam Typhoons/ J-10C

India and USA are different. They are secular nations. Myanmar is not secular. Myanmar constitution gives special status to Buddhism however it is not a state religion because Buddhism is a religion based on asceticism and has no actual part in the government.

Myanmar is called the land of Golden Pagoda and it has some of the most important relics and Buddhist sites.

Muslims are surely part and parcel of Myanmar and have all the rights as citizen however we cannot allow them to dominate a Buddhist theocratic state or influence our tradition and culture.

Theocratic and secular states are different. Pakistan is a theocratic state so is Saudi Arabia. It is justified that they bar non muslims from holding the position of PM or President. India and USA are secular states and anyone can become PM or President.
Myanmar is not a secular state. Army chief, President, State Councillor must be Buddhist by faith.

So 20% is in question 8-)

Sounds like apartheid, if we do this in Bangladesh will you accept it?
"Sounds like apartheid, if we do this in Bangladesh will you accept it?"

Yeah sure. Bangladesh is a muslim country with Islam as state religion. Also tbh minorities don't want to be PM or President of Bangladesh.

BD is a $300b economy and India is $2,800b. Moreover, there may not be a military solution for Rohingya repatriation.
