Other political parties won’t go against military whereas IK also doesn’t have brains just like others. If he had any brains, he would have kept his seat otherwise even after losing it he would have tactfully won the elections knowing public is behind him without taking any government or military institution head on and abusing them.
Then his game plan would have started, firstly to maintain his seat continually in every elections, then with passing tenure ensuring that ISI and Army trust him completely as he starts back door talks with top brass, if they don’t go well then he starts making IB stronger than ISI with own designated directors and increases IB’s budget to meet or surpass ISI’s in coming years on basis of insurgency under CTD/IB inside Pakistan while engaging military completely with India and Afghanistan by sending constant threats to their premiers, considering PA is poised towards a skirmish/war with India since its disposition/training/doctrine is mostly about engaging IA and then completely siding with China to back him up in case things go sour with COAS while military remains dependent on China so PA has to listen to China in many aspects of security and CPEC investment. There are more than one ways. Circumstances change and present opportunity themselves. Even if IK had to deal with military diplomatically and on their terms in first few years, by the change of next COAS he would have strengthened his position w.r.t Army.

But IK calling others as dogs is a donkey himself who is just an emotional brat.
