Hope you realize that Army is filled with these intra-service rivalries, jealousies and politics like all big organizations. If you get high enough, you are bound to be in someone's crosshairs. I have seen that countless times first hand.

By the way, what is the source of this being attributed to Lt Gen Ishfaq Nadeem? I am not accusing him of anything (as I personally liked him) but realize that there will always be someone who has something negative to say about you if you are senior enough.

Respectfully, the case against PML was going on waayy before PTI came into power.

When did Panama leaks came into being? When did the JIT get formed by the SC? When did Nawaz Sharif get disqualified? For which period was Nawaz Sharif blaming Bajwa and Faiz for his disqualification? Was it all under PTI government?

Secondly, when did NAB came into being and since when has it been staffed with retired army officers? Did it start happening under the PTI govt?

I am not arguing who lodged the cases and when. Upon coming into power, IK went hard after NAB cases given his promise on accountability to the nation. He tasked his DG-ISI (current CoAS) to drive those cases by furnishing the JITs/NAB with proof (ISI does not need to be part of NAB, rather has operated in a capacity to gather proof/evidence). The point is that the then DGI saw some signs of corruption in IK's family/friends circle while being asked to help prosecute cases against another former PM and his family. At this point, he rightfully called that out to IK.

Personally, wouldn't give this new dude more than 7 days. If no substantial improvement; then he shall be ready to face, what Mir Bajwa faced.

That's like falling into the trap of PDM where they want PTI supporters to start trends against the the new chief as well. We need to give him some time and don't expect much. Ideally, if they really become 'neutral' than it will benefit PTI. PDM now cannot survive a month without active support of establishment now. They are failing spectacularly at economic front, if Punjab, KP assemblies are dissolved, than early snap elections is more probable where IK win is imminent.
