I like how many on PDF sucking on to the new COAS as he was delivered from the stock of Heaven, and reminds of the time when Kiyani become COAS and later Bajwa lol wait a couple of months this Haram khor will show his true colors and we will be cursing him all together :)
Nobody is sucking to anything, but we plan to give the guy a chance. If he turns out like Bajwa then he would get same reaction.

It's interesting that there's so much discussion about Army chief selection in Pakistan. In BD most of us civilians don't know the name of BD Army chief. :D
That is both a good thing and a bad thing. You should know about your soldiers. That doesn't they should intervene in politics, but no offense India keeps killing Bangladeshis on border and gets away with it. We may have many issues, but we strike back when India messes with us.

Your country was a result of Establishment interfering in political affairs, starting from General Douglass Gracey, when he denied following Quaid-e-Azam's orders for fighting for liberation of Azad Kashmir in 1948

Maybe that means Pakistan's military is better at defending its people, but being a more capable force has got nothing to do with so much hype about Army chief appointment. The Army chiefs of Pakistan are so well known among civilians because of their unconstitutional interference in domestic politics.

That is a bad part. I never said your Army should intervene what I am saying is that people should be educated about geopolitical issues as many as you can.

so PMLN really diverted from their stance and followed merit this time? probably it suit them and luckily the senior most was the ultimate choice.

however a good analysis by Arshad Sharif.

"Don't count your chickens before they're hatched"

Also, expecting sanity from PMLN is utter stupidity. They were threatening journalists, saying "Imran Khan ka time khatam (death threats)", etc.

We heard the same about Mard e Momin Mard e Haq as well. Pretty sure Zia ul Haq never missed Fajr ki namaz and Tahajjud as well.

Pakistan has a chance to do fresh start.

Justice and accountability must happen from top to bottom.

Like the Ritz Carlton, or the process in China.

If the thieves are not punished & made example, I'm afraid this will turn out to be a sham.
