As for this incident, an FIR was actually registered as per the wishes of the slain family, unlike here where the father of the deceased was made to wait the whole night, and even then the FIR was not registered in his name, but by the police, and that too against Imran Khan of all people, rather than the DSP or SHO.

IK isn't corrupt. You can make accusations, but corruption isn't one of them.

What IK was dealing with was a corrupt bureaucracy that he needed for the country to function. Yes, Imran Khan was using velvet gloves to deal with the corrupt system. Something I also wasn't fond of, but that was his approach. In his defense, Imran Khan did apply stricter control mechanisms throughout the years. Of course corruption won't stop immediately with such a corrupt machinery in place. At least we finally had someone who was addressing corruption. Right now with PDM you have an imported government that itself is corrupt to the core. What will they do fight corruption?

sir jee, no one will do anything to fight corruption. do you think people like azam swati, fawad ch, pervaiz ilahi, shah mahmood qureshi will change anything? why will they give up their power? why will they develop institutions, under them, that can arrest them or investigate them even when they are at the top? this is what went wrong with PTI. and IK, the narcissist that he is, surrounded himself with people who were yes men, khushamdis, or very good at talking. he was and is a very bad judge of character.
