We want development and equal treatment. No one hate Sindhis but their waderas.
I am not from Karachi, but I have come to the conclusion that establishment doesn't know what to do with Karachi.
I simply fail to understand, that our establishment can come up with complicated strategic doctrines but not a single road map to rescue Karachi?
A reasonable plan for Karachi would contain three points.
Change the capital of sindh to keti bandar and make it a new city so the tug of political war lessens in Karachi. PPP wants to rule Karachi to control Sindh's economy to maintain political power and will never allow even a limited local body system in Karachi. Hence, a new capital with separate sea and airport will create another power center that PPP can rule. Karachi's political significance must be lessened for its own sake.
2nd, migration from Karachi to Gwadar must take place. Gwadar must be envisioned as a new mini Pakistan . Karachi's burden must be shared by Gwadar.
3rd, slowly make Karachi a separate province. Its a very long term plan which may or may not be successful.
The top 2 are more achiveable.
The geniuses who recommend making Karachi a federal territory will make Karachi a direct enemy of Islamabad and Punjab. Karachi people will be more vocal in blaming Punjab and Islamabad since appointments on critical areas will still be from Islamabad.
