Democratic party front runner Joe biden, at a democratic party debate, floats the idea of bases in Pakistan after withdrawal to keep a check on threats that might emerge from Afghanistan. (For context) That entire debate in US regarding withdrawal is, what if Afghanistan becomes safe havens for international terrorists again.

Also this is an interesting sentence. "Its three different countries. Pakistan owns the three provinces in the east". Don't know what exactly he means by that. Was he talking about Former FATA, KPK & Balochistan in regards to being eastern provinces of Afghanistan or saying that Taliban control eastern provinces of Afghanistan? You be the judge.

Lol. He is up for a rude awakening if he succeeds. US will leave Afghanistan that means done, gone. Why would Pakistan allow bases when Pakistan wants US to leave to begin with. Nor China or Russia will like the idea of US presence in Pakistan. Never going to happen.

That would only result in a Pakistani Alqaeda.

All the hard earned respect for our military will also vanish overnight.

The question is whether Pakistan is willing to allow USA bases. USA base means that many other infrastructure and services also have to be accommodated to serve the USA base. Is Pakistan willing to provide deep access of its territory to USA?

I am afraid that both your post and the tweet are headless and tail-less, i.e lacking context. if you watch the full debate you'll see that it were no more than ramblings of a confused mind of a man out of his depth!

according to New York Post joe biden is an ineloquent moron. https://nypost.com/2019/09/13/democratic-debate-2019-joe-biden-stands-out-for-all-the-wrong-reasons/

when asked a question about Iraq, Joe Biden replies about Afghanistan instead:
    excerpt:
"He also, at one point, managed to make a pretzel out of a question about whether American troops pulled out of Iraq too early allowing ISIS to gain a foothold — launching into an answer about airbases in Afghanistan.

“Here’s the point, the point is that it’s a counter-terrorism strategy. We can prevent the United States from being the victim of terror coming out of Afghanistan by providing air bases and insisting the Pakistani provide bases for us to airlift from and move against what we know,” opined Biden.

Biden’s tongue-tied musings brought guilty levity — if little else — to the marathon three-hour proceedings."

Looks like the US policymakers are after "outsourcing" Afganistan to Pak!!! I am pretty sure direct bases in Pak would create more problems than solutions...

USA has highest stake and voting power on IMF decisions, and Pakistan is addicted to IMF bailout.

Yeah, never going to happen. It's political suicide for PTI and complete utter suicide for national security and CPEC. Like I keep telling people, the relationship between "terrorists" and Amreeka is like that of the Silver Surfer and Galactus. The terrorists are sent to wherever the US wants to devour.
