During Bahrain Air Show we saw PAF using its refuelers for International deployments for the first time. This implies that we may see more such deployments in future especially during exercises which involve JF-17s refueling from IL-78 enroute their destination.

Air Warfare Center of RSAF at Dahran is established to provide advanced training to its men on the lines of Red Flag, ATLC, Anatolian Eagle & TLP. Established with help of USAF, their version of international exercises is "Spears of Victory" whose 3rd edition is about to start.

JF-17A loaded in counter insurgency weapons configuration with 04 x Al-Battar 500 lb Laser Guided Bombs and ASELPOD at centerline station. ASELPOD is believed to be superior in performance than Sniper ATP being used by PAF F-16s

Pakistan Air Force JF-17 Thunder equipped with Takbir REK(Range Extension Kit) developed by GIDS.

REK converts the General Purpose Bombs to guided weapons by simply integrating the Range Extension Kit.
The Kit includes a Tail Unit integrated with the bomb body .
