Well I've flown formation before myself and just stepped out of a recorded session for a WSO mod, whatever they were executing didn't look symmetrical. Unaware if it was intentional.

Old man also said it looked bad.

All aerobatic teams adjust their formations and maneuvers from a single vantage point, typically termed Airshow center. To ensure the formations look symmetrical from that vantage point, they even adjust their spacing so that from other vantage points they may appear out of place but from the Airshow center it appears perfect. These videos are shot from vantage points way off from the intended Airshow center; that is perhaps one additional reason that their formation appears asymmetric.

Ever seen a flyby from a random USAF or USN unit over a football game? It not thunderbirds or blue angels level but it gets done. This is just a case of impromptu rehearsals and would be better if given a bit more time

Thats the reason why they call these " rehearsals"..... to rehearse it a couple of times so its as close to prefecture as possible on the day....
Secondly it is pretty evident that they are handling the j 10 with velvet gloves at the moment.

They have been a cringe since re starting Pakistan resolution day parade, after Zardari stopped it.
Even the soldiers in the parade are not in perfect lines. Intact the imperfection in their parade is painful to watch.

Considering the terrain they operate on, which is mostly brown desert dunes or mounds, the dark and light brown camouflage enables them to dive down once detected by enemy aircraft and effectively merge with the terrain.
