Thus Egypt will be able to access Western technology..

It is envisaged to purchase 24 Leonardo M-346 trainer aircraft, with a total value of between 370 and 400 million euros; Secondly, the partnership between Italy and Egypt stipulates the establishment of weapons factories and workshops in Egypt, with the aim of producing land and at sea weapons locally, for sale to other Gulf and African countries with Egypt to become a regional center for the military industry..

On the other hand, a loan between 500 and 650 million Euro, by a group of banks to finance the second phase of the process, which includes the supply of naval weapons not included in the initial agreement when negotiations began in the spring of 2019, including at least four "Frigates", electronic warfare equipment, radar and modern remote sensors as well as Italian technicians to train Egyptian officers..

Big bro I'm sorry I have no idea why I didn't get this tag and just happen to see it today. Anyway, thanks for it and interesting how in the news today, Eni discovers a new oil field in the western desert where just the other day, the EAF went on another one of its massive ammunitions use-up in a huge cretin crunching bang-up cleanup along the Libyan border. This was a massive hunting down and cleaning up which coincides with much of this other information including what is to be expected as good news if it comes to fruition as mentioned, especially the 2nd naval contracts but the entire package that offers all the local production sounds really great.
