Pakistan is already working on Hypersonic Missile Pak naval P282 missile won't be ballistic missile but it will be hypersonic land based missile intialy to counter huge indian navy to negate a blockade of Pakistan ecnomicical sea zones

We are now developing hyper Sonic missile both for navy and army

Answer to your second question we have amply stock pile and variety of ballistic and cruise missile and as tech is getting better they have no place in future

We already have Shaheen ghauri ghaznavi Babur hataf raad etc

Now we are and should invest in game changing missile to put our foot in next generation of missiles to counter huge threat of India

P282 will be a land based hypersonic missile for navy and on that we will build a ship based version too army is planning to use them also on land based vehicle platform similar to DF 17 missile than for airforce version but if airforce need a hypersonic missile it must induct twin engine jet like SU 35 J 16 D to launch these heave load of missile
