The antenna structure of those satellites needs to be analysed and their possible military applications. . Part of the narrative might be true like jamming, sar or long term radiation to certain area. Although each satellite needs a very high power output to do it. They sort of need a nuclear plant to do some stuff like sniper mode and get through atmosphere. If they have nuclear plants the satellites can be detected from ground to possess nuclear and it cant be explained by civilian usage. Long term radiation to an area can be detected by ground sensors. Sniper kill would be a one time shot to kill a soft target and all satellites would be potential targets afterwards. Long term real time targeting of a person cant be made easily. They would need to track the persons phone(gps/cellular network) to get the position, identify the target. People that suspect this can use plane mode or close the phone taking out the battery or similar. Satellite sar-optical imaging dont work like drones they get snapshot pictures and find static targets like air bases , static sam installations. It is hard for them to track moving smaller targets.


Launching mini-satellites with a coil gun and with each one containing 100+ mini sphere bullets would be the answer.

Hobbyists make coilguns but satellite deployed ones would ofcourse have considerable amount of speed. Each mini spherical bullet fired from the coil gun will have its speed in addition to the speed of the orbiting satellite. Each bullet will be a satellite itself orbiting the planet with its own trajectory. Altough these are dumb bullets their trajectory can be calculated to collide with known orbit enemy military satellites with cost of bullet being very low. Later on smart bullets with pressuresed air control can be developed that can correct its course to collide with the target.


Special satellites can be made with low observable geometry and ram material making them harder to be targeted. Additionally coil guns can be installed inside communication satellites covertly just like spacex guys install different stuff inside them. Research should be done and if the space militarization of usa threat is found real deployment should be done accordingly. There are laws against space based weapons but this would be a defensive weapon targeting only military satellites. If there is enough data about the satellite network and weaponisation is evident every nation has the right to defend itself against these types of weapons.

Submarines use thermoclines to evade detection, the way an aircraft flying low over the horizon uses atmospheric refraction to its advantage.

Iran's Near Space ASAT Interceptor

Similarly, Iran's proposed Near Space ASAT Interceptor would only make short jumps into space, of a few minutes at most, the time to conduct laser strikes, before plunging back into the lower part of the denser atmosphere.

The ASM-135 was designed to be launched from an F-15A in a supersonic zoom climb.

Compare this missile with the case of a Falcon 9 interception, when this target is at the closest range from the Iranian territory:

Falcon-9 altitude at interception is ~265 km
Falcon-9 distance: > 600 km
Falcon-9 elevation: ~15° ± 5° above horizon

This means the ASM-135 ASAT would be unable to intercept the Falcon 9 due to the operational range. And this is the closest distance!

Furthermore, this would be over Saudi territory!

In a nutshell, Iran can only use Laser ASAT.

Meanwhile, the Falcon-9 elevation of ~15° ± 5° above horizon at the closest distance, means it would be too low for a good ground-based laser interception.

Even with the use of Adaptive Optics (A.O.) to counter distortions from the atmospheric turbulence, losses due to the absorption, diffusion, backscattering, ionization and breakdown of the atmospheric molecules, would make it very difficult.


From 566 km distance, the Falcon-9 second stage, of similar size to the Hubble telescope, would be sufficiently resolved already in a 127 mm Maksutov.

But the below image was taken from an elevation of 70° far from the 15°!

Based on the U.S. 1984 the Space Based Laser (SBL) program, these are the basic requirements for an effective ASAT laser:

With a range of 4'000 km (up to 12'000 km), a spot size of 0.3 to 1.0 meter at focus, this orbital combat system would have weighted 35 tons.

The 8 meter mirror is segmented so that it can be folded inside a launch vehicle and unfurled in orbit like flower petals.

Its deuterium-fluoride laser at 2.7 mm would have produced an 5-10 MW output.

Iran has one solution.

To fit the laser weapon on an airborne platform, such as the heavy military transport aircraft, Ilyushin-76, that is currently in the inventory of Iran.

Below is a recent Russian proposal for a somewhat similar purpose.

We see that Iran needs to place the 35 tons laser complex inside the cargo bay. What is more tricky is how to place a 8 meter diameter mirror inside, while ensuring a free straight line of sight from within the cargo bay.

Unlike the Russians, that house the laser inside a large retractable dorsal turret, Iran would have to breakdown the 8 meter diameter mirror into multiple smaller mirrors, and align them inside the cargo bay. Such as 16 mirrors of 2 meter diameter.

Of course currently Iran is not known to have the capacity to indigenously produce 2 meter diameter mirrors. Therefore it would have to be breakdown into even smaller ones.

All laser beams would be re-combined at the target with no loss of heat-flux, but decreased resolution in the vertical axis.

The fuselage of the aircraft would need to be opened for the laser beams, similar to gunports, that is the openings in the side of the hull of a galleon.

Unlike the Russian 1 MW laser, Iran's lasers would be solid state, and the 5-10 MW output would be delivered by batteries.

At the altitude of 13'000 m (service ceiling), seen from the aircraft, the elevation of the Falcon-9 would decrease compared to a ground-based laser, but the atmosphere density would have already decreased as well, making a strike more favorable.

To further improve the strike condition, an hypothetical upgrade would be to propel the aircraft to higher near-space altitudes, in the near vacuum.

Supersonic zoom climb is not suitable, the Ilyushin-76 being not designed to evolve at Mach 2 or Mach 3 powered by its own turbofans.

But by fitting external rocket engines, as boosters developing no less than 100-tf, a powered climb could even be envisaged, and continued ballistically with a coast unpowered at above 40 km altitude or higher.

While at the apogee and during the few minutes of parabolic inertial trajectory the laser strikes could be conducted under optimal conditions.

Notice, thermal insulation over the aircraft would be required as the temperature of air friction during reentry might rise above several 100 of degrees.

The crew would also need to be protected from the vacuum and wear full pressure flight suits, providing oxygen.

A final hypothetical platform would be to use a modified civilian Airbus passenger jet, with the advantage over the Ilyushin Il-76MD transport, of an overall length of ~60 m allowing to align all 16 mirrors of 2 meter diameter in a row, and offering a better line of sight for the laser gunports resulting from its mid wing configuration!

To develop an indigenous functional airborne or even a near-space Iranian laser ASAT heavy bomber will take time.

Meanwhile time is precisely running out, as the completion of the U.S. orbital Starkink Directed Energy WMD is expected by 2027, with 42'000 platforms.

Iranian Focus Tree

The number one threat to the world's security can only be dealt with force, neither with switches nor with cutting pliers.

It would be appropriate for Iran to establish after June 2021 an annual international Starlink World Awareness Day.

Meanwhile, Iran as a theocracy has a special tool in its Focus Tree, that should be activated now.

That is right after the 2021 Iranian Presidential Election. The new elected Principlist administration would have the option to issue a Fatwa that the U.S. Starlink is Haram (forbidden).

Fatwas involving violence are more likely to be well known than other fatwas, especially to non-Muslims. One possible reason is that non-Muslims regard most fatwas as not affecting them, but fatwas involving violence can potentially affect them. Fatwas do not only affect non-Muslims. It is important to note that a Fatwa is meant to be issued by a legal scholar, not by any political entity. Generally, any given case may have many fatwas (legal opinions) written by the scholars of the region and time. The fatwa backed by the State is the one with legal power.

It the case of Starlink, the effect of a fatwa would be to rise the awareness worldwide, and more than a simple World Awareness Day.

As of March 2021, as expected, zero headlines in the world are dedicated to the Starlink threat to world peace. While 90% are monoplolized by the smokescreen called COVIDHOAX.

But what is to be even more highly deplored is that no headlines are dedicated to the Starlink threat in the nations of the Axis of Resistance. A fatwa is meant to change that.

After 2027, to destroy 42'000 Starlink DEW platform would be utterly hopeless for a minor power like Iran.

With a total of less than 10 space launches over a decade, how can one manage to launch 42'000 ballistic KKV ASAT weapons in case of conflict?

A shortcut would be to intercept each Falcon 9 before they can unload their deadly cargo into LEO, thus preventing the completion of this Dyson Sphere of Dajjal!

Iran is known to intercept all enemy trespassing U.S. drones and cruise missiles (as on 8th January 2020).

There is no reason intruding Falcon 9 rockets carrying tonload of WDM should be spared!


Although the new train of Starlink weapons could still be easily observed this morning before dawn with naked eyes, as very rapid passing bright white spots of ~4.8 magnitude, from a 425 km distance from the ground (~351 km altitude), time is running out!

Indeed, the U.S. military is starting to add optical coatings to the Starlink platforms, to better evade enemy optical detection, and could well be made totally stealth both optically and to the radiowaves by 2027!


This means ASAT KKV based on missile would be nearly unable to intercept due to the limited operational range.

Obviously, ground-based Directed Energy ASAT weapons are not an option for Iran either.

The only solution left for Iran is to fit the laser weapon on an airborne platform, such as the heavy military transport aircraft, Ilyushin-76, that is currently in the inventory of Iran or even to use a modified civilian Airbus passenger jet, with the advantage over the Ilyushin Il-76MD transport, of an overall length of ~60 m allowing to align all 16 mirrors of 2 meter diameter in a row, and offering a better line of sight for the laser gunports resulting from its mid wing configuration!

Detection and Targeting

This leaves one more question to address. How could Iran detect, track and conduct the attack against stealth weapons?

Being a platform evolving above the densest layers of the atmosphere, even in the near space altitude, the Iranian indigenous airborne near-space laser ASAT heavy bomber would not need to use a radar.

Lidar is a well known optical technology for measuring a target's range and radial velocity.

Quantum entanglement Lidar systems use entanglement between transmitted signals and retained idlers to obtain significant quantum enhancements in simultaneous measurement of these parameters.

The tremendous detection and resolution capacities allowed by the large 2 meters aperture mirrors used to steer the laser beams during the target engagement will be also used for the detection phase.

The mirrors would be used to scan the LEO by sending streams of single entangled photons in the visible wavelength.

Once the coordinate of the target is determined, the detection beams would be switched to the engagement laser of 5-10 MW output, and then ensure a quick neutralization of the trespassing target.

However you seems to come from a computer gaming background not trained in physics.

So I appreciate your worst case scenario models on different topics, but sometimes they would not work in this reality (Starlink DEW with current array size and composition).

Indeed, the U.S. military is starting to add optical coatings to the Starlink platforms, to better evade enemy optical detection, and could well be made totally stealth both optically and to the radiowaves by 2027!

Active Detection and Targeting of Stealth Space Targets

This leaves one more question to address. How could Iran detect, track and conduct the attack against stealth weapons?

Being a platform evolving above the densest layers of the atmosphere, even in the near space altitude, the Iranian indigenous airborne near-space laser ASAT heavy bomber would not need to use a radar.

Lidar is a well known optical technology for measuring a target's range and radial velocity.

Quantum entanglement Lidar systems use entanglement between transmitted signals and retained idlers to obtain significant quantum enhancements in simultaneous measurement of these parameters.

The tremendous detection and resolution capacities allowed by the large 2 meters aperture mirrors used to steer the laser beams during the target engagement will be also used for the detection phase.

The mirrors would be used to scan the LEO by sending streams of single entangled photons in the visible wavelength.

Once the coordinate of the target is determined, the detection beams would be switched to the engagement laser of 5-10 MW output, and then ensure a quick neutralization of the trespassing target.

Passive Detection of Stealth Space Targets

Meanwhile, this active method of detection could reveal prematurely to the enemy the presence and position of the Iranian laser ASAT bomber squads.

The need to use another method for passive detection of stealth targets should therefore be envisaged not as alternative but as complement tactics.

Evolving at Near Space altitude, the Iranian laser ASAT bomber squads would always benefit 24/7 from a dark background sky, unlike aircrafts that fly below in the atmosphere.

In an ulterior improved development, Iran's IRGC laser ASAT bomber units could use infrared wavelengths detectors to further push the magitude detection threashold of the background celestial reference objects.

Occultation of the reference celestial objects while brief could then be detected and allow to reconstruct the velocity vectors and coordinates of the enemy stealth spacecraft in LEO.

Once the coordinates of the target is determined, the mirrors would be switched to the attack mode, delivering a laser beam of 5-10 MW output, and then ensure a quick neutralization of the trespassing target.

Altering the ionosphere can never destroy ICBMs, because the HAARP can't certainly not reach the critical threshold of heat flux required (100 watt/sq cm).
The reason is that the ionosphere is probably the worse layer to conduct such attack by any DEW in the radiowaves band, because the density of the air is too low.
Even if the molecule are heated at hundred or thousands of degrees, the low density would not make it more dangerous. Meanwhile, below 40 km would be much more efficient, such as the troposphere or stratosphere.

Notice that the world first microwave anti-air weapon built in the 1940s by the Empire of Japan was intended to be used against American bombers flying in the troposphere altitude of 8 to 14 km.


Space Combat

Basically HAARP creates a ionized layer but within the Alaska's horizon, that would reflect the radiowaves beyond Alaska's horizon down to earth to the U.S. submarines in the Atlantic and Pacific, but certainly not as far as Iran. This same radio-reflective layer would of course make radiowaves of certain frequencies from satellites bounce back to space as well.

China is building a powerful radar system in the South China Sea that critics say could knock out communication systems, manipulate the weather and even cause natural disasters.

The system, which sounds like something out of science fiction, uses pulsed energy beams to study and manipulate electrically charged particles in the high atmosphere.

It has civilian and military applications and could challenge US dominance in both spheres.

The US military has already been working on similar technology, but it has proved controversial with critics warning that it could allow governments to play God by causing disasters such as hurricanes, typhoons and tsunami.

Most scientists have dismissed these warnings as alarmist, however, and questioned whether the technology is really capable of doing this.

But while the American programme – funded by the air force, navy and universities – faces an uncertain future due to budget cuts, China is ready to speed up its own work in this field.

The South China Morning Post has learned that Beijing is ready to start work building a powerful machine in Sanya, a resort on the island province of Hainan.

The device, known as a High-powered Incoherent Scatter Radar, would be capable of influencing the ebb and flow of subatomic particles as far away as Singapore, a distance of over 2,000km (1,200 miles).

This facility would be the most powerful radar in the South China Sea and – regardless of whether it can be used to generate extreme climate events – would have multiple military uses, including improving China’s submarine warfare capabilities and disrupting other countries’ communications networks by creating an atmospheric “black hole”.

A Chinese Academy of Sciences official who visited the site in March expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project, according to information on the academy’s website.

During his visit, Li Shushen, vice-president at the academy, urged scientists to use the facility to serve China’s “strategic needs” and pursue “frontier issues” in space.

The machine works by generating rapid pulses of electromagnetic energy and beams them into the ionosphere, a layer of the atmosphere that can reflect radio waves thanks to a high concentration of ions and electrons.


By analysing the radio waves bouncing back off the particles, researchers can precisely measure the disturbance in the ionosphere caused by cosmic activity such as the sun’s rays.

The data can also be used to correct the radar images collected by spy satellites to gather more information and focus more precisely on a specific target.

By fine-tuning the high-energy beam, scientists could also stimulate the lower ionosphere to generate low-frequency waves and send these back to Earth.

These waves can travel long distances through seawater and reach submarines in the deep ocean, which means the technology could be used to send instructions to the subs from the base without the need for them to approach the surface to receive them.

At present the US is still the leader in this field of science. It built a similar programme to study and manipulate the ionosphere in Gakona, Alaska about 10 years ago.

The main purpose of the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme, or HAARP, was to improve satellite performance and submarine communication, according to scientists funded by the US navy and air force.

But building such a device was technically challenging and the power consumed by the project resulted in mounting costs.

So far, only about 10 such instruments have been built, mostly by the US, former Soviet states and the European Union, in strategic coastal areas such as the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic.

The largest devices can generate and beam extremely low-frequency waves over large areas. Because they have the power to penetrate water, the earth’s crust and the human skull, some observers have warned that the governments could use the technology to set off storms or earthquakes and even control the brain.

However, most mainstream scientists have dismissed such concerns as overtly conspiratorial, arguing that the technology has so far been used to study the weather in space and support certain military operations.

They also point out that however powerful the machines are, they do not at present have enough energy to manipulate weather on any sizeable scale or trigger natural disasters.

The Sanya High-powered Incoherent Scatter Radar would be the first such device in the South China Sea.

The technology allows physicists to use extremely powerful radio waves to stir up the ionosphere – a physical phenomenon called incoherent scattering

This allow researchers to measure the temperature, density and speed of subatomic particles over huge distances and allows them to observe and influence the ionosphere – something a conventional radar cannot do.

One such device has been operating in the southwestern Chinese province of Yunnan since 2012, according to research papers by mainland scientists. The device, located in Qujing, is being used to study the ionosphere and detect extremely small targets such as nano satellites and microscopic pieces of debris for military and civilian space projects.

A researcher working at the site of the new Hainan project in Tiandu town told the South China Morning Post: “The implementation plan has been approved by the central government. Construction should start before the end of this year.”

A key component of the instrument is a phased array radar panel about the size of a basketball court. The panel consists of individual modules that could be assembled and taken apart, so the facility could be moved from one location to another in a short period of time.

The power of its beam would equal several hundred megawatts, the same amount of energy that would power thousands of households in the US.

A senior Chinese radar expert at Xidian University in Xian, capital of northwestern Shaanxi province, who previously worked with the People’s Liberation Army Institute of Telecommunication Engineering, confirmed that the project would operate with two separate divisions, one for civilian research and the other for military operations.

Sanya is China’s main naval base and houses a fleet of nuclear submarines, but the researcher said there were concerns that the island’s power supplies may prove to be inadequate. Shortages have sometimes been reported on the island, which lacks large generating plants.

The technology was jointly developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Electronics Technology Group and Nanchang University, all with close ties to the military.

A smaller prototype has been collecting data over the past few years, according to scientists at the site.

Zhao Biqiang, a researcher with the Institute of Geology and Geophysics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and a senior scientist involved in the project, said details of the instrument would not be revealed to the public until two or three years later.

The Sanya programme was officially launched in 2015 with a kick-starting fund of nearly 100 million yuan (US$15.7 million) from the central government.
The goal was to develop and build the “world’s most advanced incoherent scatter radar”, according to information on the academy’s website.

Zhao declined to comment on the facility’s military applications.

“It is too early to talk about what the technology can do. There will be lots of technical challenges and engineering hurdles we may face and have to overcome,” he said.

“The main purpose of this programme is to study the ionosphere over the South China Sea. Currently there is no such device in this region. The data collected by our instrument will fill gaps in our knowledge.”

There were other similar facilities under construction in China with a power output “much larger than ours”, Zhao said.

The project was led by professor Wan Weixing, an award-winning researcher involved in many defence projects on the ionosphere.

In a research paper published in a domestic journal in 2014, Wan mentioned an experiment conducted by Chinese scientists to heat up a large area in the ionosphere with powerful radar waves.

Computer simulation suggested the technology could change the temperature and density of electrically charged particles over an area the size of a large city, according to the paper. Wan could not be reached for comment on the Sanya project.

The People’s Liberation Army has funded a large number of research works on ionosphere weapons. They included an airborne device to release a large amount of chemicals in the high atmosphere to create a communication “black hole” over enemy forces.

In this case the chemical will change the ionosphere to block radio waves. They could also be designed to allow certain signals, such as extremely low frequency waves generated by a satellite, to pass through the ionosphere and communicate with submarines.

There are more immediate safety concerns about the deployment of the powerful electromagnetic instrument in Hainan, a popular tourism destination known as China’s Hawaii.

Liu Wenlong, a professor of physics at the school of space and environment at Beihang University in Beijing said the energy beam of ground-based radar could hit passing planes and the area has high levels of air traffic.

Although he said he did not think it would be able to penetrate the plane’s multiple layers of protection and burn out its chips – because that would require more energy than existing technology could produce – it needed “careful investigation” to check that the man-made pulses will not affect the plane’s ability to communicate with air traffic control.

However, the Xidian University researcher said the facility was likely to have a separate radar to warn passing planes and a facility to shut down operations if planes accidentally came within range.

In conclusion, Starlink can concentrate more energy than HAARP, at some 5-10 MW thanks to its phased array antenna, which the HAARP lacks. Therefore, critical heat flux threshold can easily be reached by Starlink DEW only.

Moreover the wavelength of Starlink allows to concentrate on a smaller area at focus point, much smaller than HAARP that operate at much longer wavelength. Thus confirming that HAARP as a communication tool was indeed neither intended nor optimized to be used as DEW, unlike Starlink.
