It's hard to say if the US is really "betraying" the Kurds as I've been lead to believe Kurds aren't all of one faction. In fact there is a decent amount of different factions within the Kurdish ranks across the Middle East and they don't all ring the same bell.

Now I will say that the US (my government) is most definitely using the Kurds to push Washingtons agendas which include not allowing Syria to be fully reunified, nullifying Irans foothold (idk how effect this is really), creating a buffer to use against Turkey if needed (sad development in all honesty), and convenient pretext for mission creep. Meaning all the US has to in order to justify its involvement is to cite something to do with the Kurds and the actions US military takes are thereby giving rationale for any actions undertaken.

Iran can (in my opinion) act as a liaison or diplomatic bridge in helping mend ties between the Kurdish factions which are in Syria and the Syrian government. Iran can also, with Russias help mend ties between Turkey and certain Kurdish parties but since the Kurds are undoubtedly the useful idiots of the Americans it's unlikely this course of action will take place anytime soon.

All in all I'm most likely wrong since I really don't know what is going on with the Kurds but that is my position on the matter as of now.

Is Iran looking for trouble? That's how your question sounds. Regarding American's, my vote is "no".

Syrian Kurds have no choice but to follow the KRG example in northern Iraq. Iran has already told them what to do. They need to disarm, join the SyAA and stop screwing around with Turkey on U.S. orders.

The Kurds don't have a future. The US has promised gold, but cannot even deliver bronze. There won't be a Kurdistan. It is a relationship of convenience. The Americans are using the Kurds for their own goals. The Kurds are willing to be used because they don't have much options.

The Kurds have been promised their own homeland. The US knows it cannot deliver.

Kurds should disarm and learn to integrate, otherwise it will backfire someday.

The US always preached Gold but delivered sh!t packed in gold foil.

there is famous Kurdish phrase that say,
Kurds are like chicken, they would beheaded in both funeral and wedding !!!!!
that mean does not matter they win or loss at end they would slaughter. Kurds won war against ISIS in Iraq but they lost Kirkuk exactly at their winning ceremony against ISIS.

Sadly, they become Americans tool not partner in Iraq and Syria. Iran can change dynamic for them in Syria and they understand this fact that Iran never act against them in Syria.

The Turkey problem with kurds is not racial or linguistic or even sectarian. Kurdish problem with Turkey is geopolitical. and geopolitical problems can not solve easily, so acting as mediator b/w kurds and Turks is ridicules decision in my mind.
Kurds are like dam or belt in south and east side of Turkey and preventing Turkish active involvement in Islamic world.

    trouble with whom ????
Kurds are Syrian citizen and Iran wanted to reunited Syria again but for achieving this result Syrian government must give some rights to Kurds which they did not have before like recognizing their language and their culture as part of Syrian heritage and culture.

Kurds of Syria are Syrian citizens. They came to this fact with their blood spilled after US treason. Now they are willing to join SAA ranks, @Tokhme khar bro, they are joining SAA by dozens.

SAA patience on Kurdish issue is fruiting and most of them are getting in line with SAA. There will be no Kurdistan in any case ;)

The last stronghold of ISIS in Syria is in the Eastern-Euphrates of Deir ul Zur where Kurdish fighters want to recapture. They would be almost dead after fall of their last stronghold in Deir ul Zur. However, their threat still exists and their mentality is till alive among some elements of Iraq's Al-Anbar province. Its up to Iraq to counter them. Actually ISIS fighters are being sandwiched between Iraq and Syria. Problem is foreign presence and as it seems they will leave after Syria is completely stabilized. If Syria remained unstable, there could be more justification from the so called coalition murderers to stay in oil fields of Syria but we won't give them the reason as you know. If they insist, in the future, they'd be bombed as invaders. USA has been using Kurds so far for own goals but dozens of them are currently joining SAA ranks especially the Kurds from northern Syria. Deir ul Zur Kurds are still dreaming of lala land but i am sure they will be butchered just like the northern Kurds if they trust Americans. USA will throw them away like a trash once its goals are achieved in Syria. And in case of Turkey, i guess, Russian influence will keep them in their own territories. EU refuted to accept new member and banned Turkey from joining EU forever, they are receiving S-400 so Russia is being more friendly to them . A friend that Syrian integrity is on their top priority. Trump has to leave Syria, if that happens, other NATO lap dogs will also leave and SAA will be the most powerful force in Syria. Idlib is our final station .

What or who do you mean by Kurd's exactly? Do you consider YPG as well?
Those, who get inline with SAA are YPG, Syrian branch of PKK. Do you know what would be the outcome of such thing?

Once Syria's territorial integrity is ensured, they will be unarmed forever. No one wants to use them against Turkey except for Israel and USA. As you know we have suffered the same pain with Pejak, our version of PKK.

I am not in position to determine who is Kurd and who is not?
Those who identify themselves as Kurd are Kurd.

We didn't manage a coup in Turkey and we didn't arm Kurdish fighters through NATO members. Guess the rest
