Senator Graham is an experienced and pragmatic senator, who knows the realities of events unfolding elsewhere.
As I said before Biden and his band of not so merry men and women are clueless.

I have said it several times, Trump was much better negotiator then these slippery, sulking and scheming democrats.

Musharraf was a big MF coward, who couldn't handle the pressure and intimidation. He was a disgrace to the ssg uniform.
No one had a clue in the days after 9/11 on what the death toll was. I thought 10,000-20,000 people perished in the collapse of the WTC

It would have suicidal for Musharraf to confront USA

had it not been for Gen Musharraf, at worst Pakistan would now be looking like Syria, Libya, Iraq and that there bastion of sharia Afghanistan or at best FATA would still be talibstan another sharia paradise where women were being dis-honored in middle of the road, where dead bodies wer being desecrated
It waz classic text book war planing.it worked againt sovit and it worked againt usa. Stronger the horse is harder to ride. Make it tired and then ride it as per your wish.sovit took 14 years usa took 20 years..now ride as you want.

The US thinks it can ignore Pakistan to appease india but the ground reality has changed, Pakistan doesn't need the US that much anymore. Infact if the US leaves Afghanistan without even talking to us then its perfectly ok for Pakistan. They are leaving Afghanistan to china and Pakistan anyway, so let them leave silently when their heads down. Pakistan wont even give bases so they really dont need to talk, just leave and make sure the door doesn't hit them in the face lolz.

US is behaving like a divorced wife. One day they will come round when the reality strikes and find out after all friendship with Pakistan have got advantages too.

You can ignore every country in the region except Pakistan, when it comes to Afghanistan.

Pakistan is in for the long game. Let US leave and we ll sort things our way.

US has nothing to offer when it comes to Afghanistan.

Biden is a puppet. A vetted dumb old man of the establishment. His appointment to VP and now President was all managed.

It’s not just folk here on PDF. Even the idiots on media, so call journalists suffer from same mental illness. Blaming dead General’s Cold War policy, some even blame the First PM of Pakistan for their tilt towards US. They analyze challenge and difficult of past, living in the comfort of present without realizing, at that time, those who were responsible, took the best course of action. Now Every layman can draw random conclusion in 20/20 hindsight.

Nonetheless, he is the current sitting elected President, and will remain so for the remainder of his term.

Please see above. Pakistan will have to work with the current administration to further its own goals as best as possible.

Biden’s team isn’t clueless, IMHO, but it seems what ever has been decided (via back channels) between Pakistan and the US seems to be a wait and see approach. Seeing how Afghanistan turns out once the dust settles. Senator Graham is indeed pragmatic. By the way the midterm elections are looking, Republicans will probably be back in control of both houses of Congress by January 2023. As a senior senator, he’ll have more say sooner rather then later.

I personally don’t think anything has been decided through back channels. If Biden hasn’t talked to Imran then there isn’t anything that will happen. The CIA was the back channel and they were told to go away.

As for being clueless that’s actually a tame word, they’re outright incompetent. I mean asking for bases in Central Asia, ignoring Pakistan etc.

Agreed about the elections.

Agreed. My sense is the Biden folks are cold shouldering PMIK. They are sending lower level folks or are trying to work through PA or ISI......kind of funny for the champion of democracy:lol:. GOP has rejected talking to lower level officials......and should continue to do so. PA and ISI should also make clear that nothing is agreed until civilian government concurs.
