Maoist insurgency has been tamed a lot since it's inception
it's mostly present in the under developed areas with very low literacy rate
i guess that's why it began in the first place due to lack of development and opportunities in far flung areas
Naxalism might've started as an idealistic movement but it's anything but that right now.
