the problem with dealing with Pakistan is that you're never really dealing with any sort of civilian authority, spl when it comes to foreign policy, and this is doubly true when it comes to dealing with India... their leaders will do as the army says, and their army needs an enemy to stay relevant.

Yes because India is angel who can do no wrong. The worlds most peaceful nation which does not go into Mynamar playing Rambo then does drunken LOC firings. Shows no support for economic development in Pakistan and openly supports insurgencies from Afghanistan and destabilizing Afghanistan in the process.:lol:

Whats happened is Pakistan has formed an excellent strategy to deal with India courtesy of Foreign office team/Sartaj Aziz. It is assertive and cuts through the Indian bullshit.

No more of India hot and cold strategy. Pakistanis can now see through this. India releasing this presser is sign of desperation.

Pakistan should remain firm and keep the door shut till India falls into line.

India is culturally malicious.

Pakistanis expose them for what they are.

Maybe in another 100 years India would be ready to coexist.
You dont have to copy paste text from Pakistani textbooks, come up with something orignal :D

It's the price US is paying for not letting you fall.

“I want to say from the depth of my heart that we want good and friendly relations with Pakistan. It is our policy to have cordial relations with all our neighbouring countries, including Pakistan,” Singh told reporters on the concluding day of his two-day visit to Indian Kashmir.
After reading views of Indians on here and I believe they are closer to the views of the Indian establishment; India does not want peace with Pakistan.

Why play this ''good guy'' game for Christendom ears? Our Mufti says, if two people can't get along then they should stay apart as fitna is worser.

I think India should stop obsessing about Pakistan and move on!

India wants cordial ties with Pakistan but Islamabad must 'change its approach': Rajnath Singh

SRINIGAR: Despite the tone and tenor of its recent actions, Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday that his country desired cordial relations with Pakistan, but asked Islamabad “to change its approach” for this to happen.

“I want to say from the depth of my heart that we want good and friendly relations with Pakistan. It is our policy to have cordial relations with all our neighbouring countries, including Pakistan,” Singh told reporters on the concluding day of his two-day visit to Indian Kashmir.

Sindh said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had invited his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif to attend his swearing-in ceremony in May 2014 to “demonstrate India’s urge for peaceful and normal relations with that country.”

“We made our intentions clear on the day of the oath-taking ceremony (of Modi). If it was not our intention to improve relations with Pakistan, perhaps our prime minister would not have invited Sharif,” he explained.

Referring to former Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s comment on Pakistan that “friends change, but neighbours don’t,” Singh said, “We also believe in that. There will be no let up in our efforts but Pakistan will have to think about it (too). It takes two hands to clap.”

Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry last month said Pakistan wanted to have a “normal” relationship with India, for which there is also a political consensus in the country, but Islamabad’s efforts were not being reciprocated by New Delhi.

Chaudhry said it was the Indian government, and not Pakistan, which had put a stop to the Indo-Pak dialogue.

In the recent weeks, both the countries have accused each other of sponsoring terrorism with a war of words continuing from both sides.

Actaully it is Pakistan which needs to stop obseesing with India.

The recent statements about giving proof to US and then to UN and the BBC scandal all prove that you guys cannot think anything beyond India.

There is a difference between taking India to book for her terrorist involvement and a P.R stunt like the one Singh is doing.

India needs to move on!

We do not trust each other..... the best possible solution can be......

1) Ignore each other for 5 years -
2) Mind our own business's
3) Keep working on improving the social standards
4) Ban media of both countries in reporting stories related to relations
5) Contact or help the other incase of a natural disaster.

After 5 years (or 10 years) Set up a meeting with both the PM's and then decide how to take it forward.....

My 5 cents....
