Gotta love Twitter. They do nothing about racist comments towards black footballers but reasonable criticism of a politician for failing to manage his country properly gets the algorithm treatment.

But
Hmmmm...but it seems most Indians seem to like him, judging from the vast majority he won during last election I suppose?
Yes they do. And in all likelihood he will win again. I wouldn't say all but a lot of them do. It's like Trump - he has a connect which can be called street level. No PM before him has mocked previous leaders or made outrageous comments and built a persona around him. This mix of demi God and leader seems to be really excite the people because of his humble origin. Look the previous ones. All educated and elitist. Eton, Oxford. Cambridge. Narasimha Rao could speak 15 languages. Vajpayee was a poet.

This guy is a street fighter. More people identify with him because he doesn't come from privilege. He's also an excellent orator.

Yes and that's what they are paying for. Economy almost collapsed, massive unemployment prices of commodities through the roof and general mismanagement of country's affairs. India has unfortunately become a country of suicidal bhakts. They are like a terminally ill person on cocaine.

Horse shit. It's got nothing to do with his background. Indians like him because he led Gujarat massacre and killing of tens of thousands of Muslims in broad daylight. This credential alone will win anyone a PM-ship in India.

Nope.

Indian politician only care about votes. You died, he died is not my business.
Only possible to criticize an elected official like this in a democracy.

In a communist land -

And we are opposing such and calling out the Government for being so thin skinned and cowardly. That's democracy and free speech. Just ask the 100,000 Chinese refugees here to explain it to you. :yahoo::yahoo:
If you had good governance instead of democrazy, you wouldn’t be in this mess.
Yes. It does. Doesn't mean the Indian public isn't going to call out the Govt. and criticize it. As opposed to China, where the doctor who first raised a red flag on the virus was detained by the State and then died of Covid.
CPC got the virus under control. India on the other hand.....
Nope.

Communist countries have all done an excellent job in managing COVID. Democrazy has failed. India having the worst democrazy of the lot, India doing the worst.

Lol. If China was a democracy, the bloody virus wouldn't have become a global pandemic.

If China was a democrazy, China would be a total failure like India right now.

The leader of your country is more interested in political rallies for election than solving the COVID catastrophe. It’s appalling governance.
