so SC said to keep Senate Elections with secret ballot and this is supposed to be victory for PM? what the heck are these anchors and channels on *facepalm*
It is victory as SC has now made ballot traceable.

these are pti supporters who are twisting things to get more likes for their stupid videos.
Wednesday will decide the fate of PTI and if PTI looses important Sheikh Hafeez seat or chairman senate elections, than I think Imran Khan will dissolve the assembly
PTI won't loose Sheikh Hafeez seat now as ballot is traceable.

But wasn't it the President who sought this?
Are you saying that the PM office is using President office as a tool of governance?
Yes. President and PM office work together.

Yes. Chief Justice of Pakistan is also undermining constitution. That's why he ruled for secret but traceable ballot. Only corrupt opposition parties can protect constitution now.
You have a warped imagination.

Much of it is influenced by prophecies of chaos in Pakistan.

What proper process? Govt went to parliament for open ballot. Opposition shouted like animals. So it went to President that sought opinion of the SC. SC verdict says open ballot is not allowed but the vote is still traceable.
Nothing is vague. It is responsibility of the EC to make ballot traceable now.

Correct. Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry and Justice Faez Isa closed all corruption cases against your beloved Sharif mafia.
Of course,

Read my the discussion again, it’s self explanatory. Take your time and try to follow along.

If ECP doesn't make the vote traceable now, and if Gov takes the matter to SC ... it could lead to the whole senate elections being nullified.

PDM has pitched that if the money taking MNAs get caught and thrown out of PTI, PMLN will give them the ticket!

It is victory as SC has now made ballot traceable.

Tracible SHOULD mean each ballot paper has to carry a serial number or barcode or Government seal or a combination that can subsequently be verified as being genuine. These ballots are placed in a container.
Electors then RANDOMLY pick up a ballot paper and place it in the voting ballot box.
Votes are then counted and verified as genuine and a victor declared.
This way the vote is both SECRET and TRACEBLE and in line with ECB and SC instructions.

If it is known before the voting who has which ballot paper

then it is no longer SECRET and the vote is not just TRACEBLE but actually TRACKABLE making this vote invalid and contrary to ECB and SC instructions.

I believe IK wants the votes to be TRACKABLE and hence in contravention of both ECB and SC directives.

No it is not known.
If the barcode is recorded against the name of the person with that ballot paper then it is KNOWN. KNOWN by the person issuing that ballot paper. This makes it NOT SECRET and TRACKABLE and not just TRACEBAL and in contravention of the directives.

who are you trying to fool?
The the Judgment went against everything the Government was working and hoping for.
Here goes the Presidential Ordinance down the drain.

this is the second time, after the Justice Isa case, that the President's Office has managed to embarrass itself.
now then, how about the Govt increase petrol prices just for the heck of it.
