Islam is alien to this subcontinent. Arabs are not obsessed with islam as much as the converted Pasmanda Muslims of this subcontinent is because of inferiority complex of being a converted muslim you won’t find an Arab , persian or Turk with punjabi name but every punjabi in Pakistan has weird Turk , Persian and Arabic names
Nowhere in the world i have seen this kind of severe inferiority complex which the Muslims of Indian subcontinent suffer from

Reported for off topic troll bait posting.

Indians have doubled their Russian crude imports, they are selling it to anyone willing to buy including Europeans.
They are not doing any favour to anyone !
I have categorically mentioned it that India doesn't sell Crude Oil. India sells Petrol, Diesel, Chemicals to many countries for decades to EU, UK, US, Gulf and subcontinent including BD but selling Crude Oil isn't a normal, it's a special gesture with a Triangle deal.

It is probably Naphtha that India sold to BD. Please read the text minutely.

It is fine as some BD'shis and also Indians have still not adjusted to the extremely close relations that BD and India now have.

This is for mutual benefits and so all good.

Will take a little more time for them to adjust to this situation.

Not just this but India prioritised BD for wheat exports.

Without Indian support at this critical time, BD would be in a worse position economically.

Catagorically mentioned means squat, cite your sources.
If anything, Indian company is probably getting rid of excess inventory .
Indians refused to honor COVID Vaccine purchase agreement after receiving payment. Therefore, for all practical purposes doing favour is a gene not present in Indian DNA.

True that, but that was then and I and many other BD’shis heavily criticised Modi and India over this.

That is the past and we need to move on.

Both India and BD have a great future as long as they work together for mutual benefits.

Bangladesh should step up diplomatic efforts with the West to pre-empt an exemption to sanctions, citing "economic hardship' and Western hypocrisy, and proceed to import Russian oil directly. This is also an opportunity for us to expand our refining and storage capacities.

Money is in short supply to build all these refineries and stockyards after the govt built projects that can be photographed for the public to see and praise. A very cheap stunt that will backfire.

Unhinged hatred and prejudice is what keeping South Asia poor.

Bangladeshis are pragmatic by nature.

If India can keep Hinduvta in check - Bangladeshis will be a reliable partner of India.

@UKBengali
Agree! If India can keep Hindutva in check, there is nothing can prevent us to become a friendly neighbor, and development partner!

But time will tell us , if really India is willing to keep Hindutva in check or not!

Action always speaks louder than the words!

As a bigger neighbor, it's primarily India's responsibility to make it's neighbors feel safe , instead of feeling threatened!

But TBH,I am in serious doubt , if we can reach to a conclusion about India so fast!

It's almost impossible to believe in such country who is under Hindutva rule ,can keep Hindutva in check!

That's why , let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst!

Hope the irrationals that are against close BD -India relations see how much India is helping BD at this time.

BD cannot develop much further without Indian cooperation.

India is earning profit by selling cheap Russian oil. Nothing special about that.

India could have sold all this grain to other countries at exactly the same price.

"INDIA HAS exported 1.5 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of wheat to Bangladesh since the country banned export of the grain on May 13, Food Secretary Sudhanshu Pandey said on Wednesday."

Again India makes profit from selling oil to BD. The profit would be less if it were sold elswhere because of transportation costs.

Kudos if India exported grains.
BD politicians should be ashamed that a country like Netherlands annually exports 80 billion dollar in agriculture products, while entire BD being far more fertile, yet cannot secure enough food for own population.
