gen Raheel has got respect even after retirement like that of inservice officers due to his great achievements in war against terror and noninterference in politics unlike musharaf who is hiding in foreign country and has no respect due to his mistakes in bringing terrorism to Pakistan and failed afghan policy

Every decision is taken on prevailing situations of that time and decisions are not based on emotions but based on the real ground situation. Gen. Musharaf have done what was correct during that time. Also, decisions are not unilateral but in consultations with all establishments.

How Gen. Musharaf was wrong? Listening to his various interviews aftermath of 9/11 proves that he has done to safeguard the Country Pakistan. Civilians doesn't have the access to information neither intelligence but judge people based on nothing.

Then the same questions should be asked, What if America attacked Pakistan; for refusing to join in their WOT? Which country would have come forward to help? Are the Islamic countries strong enough to help? Was china during that time strong enough for rescue? Would the neighboring Country not join U.S coalition to subdue Pakistan?. How many countries have been destroyed due to WOT till now???. Refrain from criticize as it is very easy but support the Government/leaders/past and present is the best option.

So, just because we don't have access to information neither intelligence, we cannot judge or criticize the Government? That's dumb. You're assuming that everything they do, no matter what it seem to us, is likely the correct decision because they have information and intelligence which we don't, the biggest false assumption in this case is that they are always making a correct decision based on the information. Given our perspective, the people have the right to question and criticize, given what their own perspective to it is, and how they see it effecting us.

The biggest intelligence we have is the leaked footage of Musharaf's meeting with the American officials, who asked about where their money they gave went to, to which Musharaf deflected by saying that poverty has decreased and all in the country, to which they responded that their taxpayers care about the poverty in Pakistan but care about how it is being spent against Terrorism, Musharaf kept deflecting the questions and told them that he has to come in power again, he must, covertly, and was implicitly asking them for their help in bringing him to power again via elections covertly. Did you see that video? So much for his patriotism, he is the reason CIA managed to get a large intelligence network imbedded in the country in the first place. He is also the reason Kargil was in the end a disaster, who doesn't take other generals, the air force and the navy into confidence before launching an operation, it seriously puts a question mark onto his allegiance, that's just my opinion and take.

Did he took unilateral decision without consultation with various establishments? Did he not consult his counsel of ministers? or the Think Thanks? or Even his own Team? or his own intelligence? or his own establishment? Proof it please? To even think of it is insane!.

Every decision will always have fallout even for coming decades and sometimes decisions can go wrong as a whole in the midst of Enemies everywhere. But, good things should be commended that he has done for Pakistan and by the way do you think whatever he has done was totally wrong/harmful? Hasn't he done something good???. You are safe as a country and safeguarding the country during that time should be commended, whereas see the support of all the countries for WOT during that time; everyone even literally all the Countries was with U.S.

Irrespective of anyone, CIA has very heavy presence in each and every Country; so keeping this out of discussions is saving time. I can only say that during that operation he brought the neighbor to its knees and that chance of reaping benefit was lost due to lack of political will.

People will always be effected in any case whether country leaders support/make peace/be neutral/do or don't do anything unless or until the disease of corruption/Interest based economy/loans issues/incompetent person at the helm of power are addressed by people themselves through their power of Votes and people sincerely and honestly coming forward to serve their own Country to bring good for the Country.

Musharaf had failed to control handover of afghanistan to indian agent and has allowed u.s to allow india to openly operate from afghanistan which resulted in killibg of 1lakh people in Pakistan and unrest in balochistan.Turkey being nato ally also allow nato to use their bases to operate in region but they ensure that neighbouring region is not used against their country unlike musharaf who handed over every thing to u.s and was acting as their slave

You are comparing Turkey and Pakistan.

Turkish people have build a Nation but Pakistani people don’t have.
In Pakistan you have the summum of the Jahiliat of mankind. I won’t remind you our waderas, sardars, pirs and what not. How can you blame one person (be it the head of state) to not have taken the good decisio when Pakistan is not united like a true Nation like Turkey? How can you blame one person to have taken wrong decisions while there are lot of people like lal mosque type in Pakistan ? How can you blame one guy to have taken the wrong decision when nobody pay his taxe and in the same time steal electricity from the national electricity grid ? How can you blame one person of being the reason of the mess in Pakistan when you can see easily what is being done in Pakistan in Tv show “Sare am” ?

Honestly you can only blame yourself at individual level for what Musharaf did if ever he did wrong things (which he had without doubt - but who never did ? can you tell us ?)

That;s good logic. But if a person has faith, they know all good or bad comes from the Heavens, and if you do and stand with what is right, there is no power on earth that can destroy you.
So tell me again, what could America have done if we had been steadfast and stood our ground for what was right and moral, and like men? Instead of choosing the path of cowardice and subjugating ourselves to an earthly temporary power and bearing the shame for over a decade to absolutely no gain but a series of blunders?

Do you see the Taliban? Do you see them alive, having survived and defeated the so called Super Power and it's NATO allies? And now Allah is blessing them with a higher status?
Why? Because they chose what was right and stood on it, and kept their faith and hope with their Creator, they didn't lay down in front of the power like coward rats and called it best for their government and country.
