If and when IK wins a 2/3rd majority, I will render a written apology on all my social media handles against the fauj. I will openly accept I am an emotional man child with a pee sized brain with little to no understanding of politics. If you can send me your twitter handle, I can tag you.

You should understand that nothing would make me happier than seeing Pakistan progress. I just don't see that happening with the coalition of PPP/N/fauj.

What's the point in being PM any longer since the election is in 90 days under a caretaker government? IK needs to spend 100% of his time on campaigning, selecting the right persons, formulating manifestos etc...

IK has said yesterday in an interview with his namesake that I will not repeat this mistake and I will personally distribute the tickets this time.

He has made serious enemies with his public statements and once you upset the US there is no going back to a life of roses. I seriously fear for his safety from the CIA and other opponents.

Do former Prime Minister's get a decent level of security from the govt after serving office in Pakistan?

Security alone can't save you in such a situation, as they find enough traitors in your own country, including in the forces (in addition to the usual sellouts, like opposition politicians).

The only thing that really matters is how much importance and time the CIA/the US gov want to give this. Pakistan is more or less irrelevant for them. Not totally irrelevant, of course, but we're not nearly as important or strategic as we tell ourselves.

In my opinion, riding on this public support wave the things that he MUST do are the following:

1) Please hire some decent public speaker and work on your public speaking skills. It includes all: the tempo, the gesture, the body language, the texture, style and the content of the speech. Most importantly when to apply what. A Jalsa Taqreer and address to the nation have two completely different occasions and need different style. Even though I support you, but I must be honest, it is a pain in the butt to hear your speech (sorry captain) LOL.

2) Learn a bit of diplomacy. You can be diplomatic about refusing someone something and will still get the same end results. There is no need for black and white categorical statements

3) Do not focus too much on accountability for now. Our institutions, especially judiciary are corrupt to the core. There is no need in wasting so much energies there. Focus on more important matters of the republic and show progress. Appoint right people in the right departments and things will automatically start moving ahead. Do not talk too much about it in public.


What else do you think he should do to get more seats this time and after that being a more successful in governing?

Who the hell are you to judge him and advise him? What are your achievements in your life. It’s easy to say things than do things.
