It's like there's literally no regard for pilots' lives. Human lives have little value in Indian society and is seen as easily replaceable. He might not be able to fly again. The ejection seat is not known for being good for the back.As long as pilot survives, it shouldn't be much an issue for IAF.
Don't hold your breath. The cost of the original buy has increased enormously. Plus there is a corruption issue with the initial purchase. The LCA was supposed to replace the Migs years ago but it won't start for at least another 5-6 years.Relieved to see that the pilot has managed to eject in time. The last few crashes resulted in the death of pilots involved.
India should really resolve the MMRCA quest as soon as possible. Perhaps a CESS is necessary to raise funds :-(
