How effective is a MANPAD against a fighter jet?

I saw a video of a Turkish soldier shooting a Stinger at a low flying fighter jet in Syria. I was just wondering how effective it would be? From what I heard, Stinger are supposed to be used against helicopters.

Its effective up to a certain altitude. CAS aircraft can become victims. PA shot down Indian Migs in kargil conflict through Anza SAM.

The new threat is UAV.

Would be interested to find out if MANPADS could be linked with positioning data from AWACS to assist in the targeting of fighter jets across a large battlefield.

Very lethal in mountain. Because fighter jet has to come closer to target in mountain war for any type of close to precision strike. Otherwise its killer for armed UAV and gunship helicopter.

I dont think much effective. Sensor of MANPADs are mainly infrared and i think UAV infrared signatures are low. However i am not sure about infrared signature.
Point to ponder. RBS 70 used by armored forces is laser guided.
I wonder how effective they will be against UAV?
I always maintained why AAA guns of different calibre are in service.

RBS-70 to Giraffe Radar to Aerial link (AWACS). Depends if PA and PAF integrate.
A target drone.
Now if Predator has an operating altitude of 25000 ft and decreases altitude to fire Hellfire missile, it could still remain out of range of shoulder carried SAMs like Stinger (maybe 15000 feet altitude at max).

Fighters can fly low to avoid radar thus get targeted by Manpads, although with AWACS coverage from the top, flying low could be futile. Mountains can help in evading AWACS coverage at certain places even if altitude is maintained. So gaps in radar coverage can help in navigating to avoid detection. In CAS role, IAF Mirage 2000 stayed out of Manpad range when releasing bombs at Kargil, it was necessary to have PAF around to thwart IAF. Climate and altitude conditions could affect pilots or fighters, not sure if they are detrimental for UAVs also.
