Well, Schools are for education not religious preaching small kids.

Then what are Ram Leela Hindu religious dramas doing in some schools during some Hindu festival times ?

Stoning a school is not an answer, if a school is doing illegal any one file complain against it.

Yeah, if not harassment by stoning then harassment by having legal complaints lodged against them. My thread from earlier this year :

I had studied in a missionary school and after my 15 years in the development sector, I had 1st hand experience that how the church promote religious conversion in schools or on the ground both by giving money or other means of bribe.

Some of my own schooling was in Christian-run schools but no one tried to convert me.

MUMBAI, India – A Catholic school in India was attacked on Dec. 6 by a group of Hindu nationalists after a YouTube channel accused the institution of baptizing Hindu students.

The incident took place at St. Joseph School in Ganj Basoda in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

The YouTube channel “Aayudh” had used an Oct. 31 photo of the Catholic children at the parish church receiving First Communion from the bishop, misidentifying it as a baptism ceremony at the school, which is located nearly a mile away.

“The hooligans shouted against the Christians as well as school authorities for allegedly conducting baptismal ceremony of the school children. They pelted stones to the front elevation and broke windows and a vehicle,” said Father Maria Stephen, the Public Relations Officer for the Catholic Church in Madhya Pradesh.

The priest told Crust officials from the Diocese of Sagar had informed the police about the issue, who offered assurances that Catholic institutions would be protected.

“However, they could not curtail the attack,” Stephen said.

Brother Antony Pynumkal, of the Malabar Missionary Brothers and the principal of the school, told Crux the allegation of conversion was “fake and baseless.”

He said they had received a statement on Nov. 30 from local Hindu groups alleging the conversion of students, which is when the authorities approached the police.

Pynumkal said the mob caused over $20,000 in damage.

“Our school has 1500 students, of which only 4 are Christian students, around 20 are Muslim students, and the rest belong to the majority [Hindu] community,” he said.

Archbishop Felix Machado, the Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI), said he was saddened by the attack.

“It pains my heart. I am not even asking which religion we belong to. But are we human beings? Where are we as Indian citizens, are we living in the 21st century?” Machado told Crux.

“As I heard, a mob 300 people armed with stones and iron rods forcibly entering a school premises when exams were going on, when students of Class 12 were appearing for a Mathematics exam,” the archbishop said.

“The students and the school staff present during the incident had escape narrowly, anyone could have been injured in the violence. Is there law and order in this beloved country of mine? I am not debating about religion here; every life is precious,” he told Crux.

Madhya Pradesh is over 90 percent Hindu, and Christians just make up 0.3 percent of the population, compared to 2.3 percent in the nation as a whole. The state recently passed a Religious Freedom Bill, which despite its name is an “anti-conversion” law aimed at keeping Hindus from joining other religions.

Hindu nationalists often accuse Christians of using force and surreptitious tactics in pursuing conversions, often storming into villages and leading “reconversion” ceremonies in which Christians are compelled to perform Hindu rituals.

These pressures on Christians, which also affect Muslims and other religious minorities, are part of what observers describe as a broad program for the “saffronization” of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, meaning an attempt to impose Hindu values and identity while squeezing out rival faiths.

Modi is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has ruled India since 2014. The BJP is linked with the the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist group.

Madhya Pradesh – which is also ruled by the BJP – is one of several states in India to enact anti-conversion laws, despite the freedom of religion enshrined in India’s constitution.

Under the provisions of the new law, a “forced” religious conversion could lead to a one-to-five-year jail term and a minimum fine of around $350. If the person converted was a minor, the jail term and fine could be doubled.

Our honorable prime minster is very cordial to us, and the honorable prime minister warmly received our delegation and assured us things, but regrettably nothing happens,” Machado said.

Just a matter of time before they’ll be in the firing line. Muslims have long been in their sights, it’s time for them to cleanse India of the non-Dharmic faiths (their own words).
Oh just another observation take a look at most of the posts of the Indian members, no sympathy from them, in actual fact they’re justifying it. Yet they’re the same bunch on the death of the poor Sri-Lankan national in Pakistan.

Their statements are a joke and they couldn’t care less. They ‘condemn’ certain countries more.
Yeah they basically are a joke, just wanted to point out the hypocrisy as they won’t take any real action.
The world knows that when, not ifextremist Hindu Indians took over they would have the mindset to purge the non-dharmic faiths.

In 1984’s Indiana Jones Temple of Doom the head Thugee spells it out.

Constitution allows people to convert and also propagate their faith and ideology.

Article 25: Freedom of conscience and free profession, practice and propagation of religion.
Article 26: Freedom to manage religious affairs.
Article 27: Freedom as to payment of taxes for promotion of any particular religion.
Article 28: Freedom as to attendance at religious instruction or religious worship in certain educational institutions.

In his speech, Ambedkar has cautioned that the working of a Constitution does not depend on the document itself. Ultimately, its effect depends on those tasked with implementing it.
…however good a Constitution may be, it is sure to turn out bad because those who are called to work it, happen to be a bad lot. However bad a Constitution may be, it may turn out to be good if those who are called to work it, happen to be a good lot.

They celebrated conversion of ex-chairman of Shia Waqf Board in UP, to Tyagi( title given to Landlords who claim to be Brahmin in UP Bihar, aka Bhumihar ) with lot of fanfare. So, they are not against conversion, only conversion from Hinduism into other religions.

Wasim Rizvi will be associated with the Tyagi community after being converted to Hinduism. His new name will be Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi.

Wikipedia: Tyagi originally called Taga, is a cultivator caste who claim Brahmin status.[1] The landholding community is confined to Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan.

Good point. About two days ago NDTV India had a news clip about some citizens in a Karnataka town who attended a church there. The Bajrang Dal had attacked the church, accusing the church authorities of conversion of Hindus into Christianity. One citizen who had freely converted was a woman who spoke to the channel. The channel also spoke to four Bajrang Dal people and one said that a person born a Hindu should die Hindu and BD will ensure that. The BD is going against the Constitution.

As I quoted, ultimately it depends on the people in power.

Since BJP has overwhelming power, only option is putting pressure on BJP from outside. Only time I have seen these people go on backfoot is when their activities get international attention.

This will make hate mongering financially un-viable.

I don't think Hindu schools brainwash kids with only hinduism. BTW there are no hindu schools.

But it is done :
Vidya Bharati (short for Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan) is the educational wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It runs one of the largest private network of schools in India, operating 12,000 schools with over 3.2 Million students, as of 2016 and has its registered headquarters in Lucknow with a functional headquarters in Delhi and a sub-office in Kurukshetra.
Ideology and Objectives

Dinanath Batra, former General Secretary of Vidya Bharati, said that they were fighting an "ideological battle against Macaulay, Marx and Madrasawadis". In comparison to which Vidya Bharati advocates "Indianisation, nationalisation and spiritualisation" of education. In the areas of study that are peripheral to the core curriculum, like physical education, music and cultural education, the institution worked out its own curriculum.

Do they teach Hinduism in those schools? I am from Odisha, I have not seen any of those schools here.

Surely those 12,000 schools exist somewhere in India with a studentship of 3.2 million as of 2016. And what do you think they teach there ?
